Location. Decorations. Lady that checked me in was sweet.
Bed was horrendous, so uncomfortable! Someone peeled the popcorn off the ceiling in the shape of penis and balls right over the bed.

I did not like the Bistro worker named Cleo. She was very rude & seemed irritable with everyone , including other hotel guests who were at the food counter. She was very snappy&

We left Quality Inn-Macon Rd due to a drug party & some very sketchy customers. (It had a decent rating on Booking.) We came to Mariott & it was so safe & clean!!! The staff made sure to place our rooms together, instead of 5 doors down like other hotel (which we had booked a month ahead). I was very happy to pay the upgrade for what ended up being a wonderful 4 day stay!! Thank you to Dana for helping us get checked in and for the various staff who were so sweet.
It was also close enough for our newly turned green soldier to stay with us and still be within the mileage limitation. :-)
Only complaint was that their little restaurant wasn't open for dinner, only breakfast, which wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was sooo good! Otherwise, this will be the only place we stay at in this area.

I didn't like we had to pay for breakfast. Didn't like the fact I paid for king room w/sofa bed instead had a chair in the room. Fire alarm went off and wasn't no compensation for the inconvenience.

Room bed was terrible, microwave was filthy and the room wasn’t clean. Smell like smoke. I have asthma! Our anniversary stay was very disappointing.

Breakfast is good
I booked this hotel for only one reason, in booking.com said it has EV charging. But when I arrived, my tesla had 10 miles left, and the front desk said they don’t have EV charging station. So I was really mad.
If you have an EV, do not plan to change there....
About room, I like to sleep in the dark, but this room has a lot of devices that produce light. So I have to unplug everything ....

The cook to order breakfast was very nice. Disappointed that coffee is not served with breakfast. That it costs between 2 and 3 dollars or so to get a cup of coffee because it is Starbucks. disappointed in choices of What I can have to drink with my nice, wonderful breakfast.
Disappointed in the choices of TV channels. As we spent a good bit of our evening in our room. If you are sports fan you have lots of channels, but if you want to watch something like Sundance, Hallmark, Nickelodeon it's not available. Need to have family oriented programming available. We're not coming back to that location, Solely based on the TV channels available.

The staff was very nice. Felt safe in the location
I was first given a room with a strong musty smell. It was replaced with a room that did not smell. The sofa was old and depressed in the middle. THe TV did not work...had to keep unplugging and replugging and then let it reload. Had brought my bathing suit to swim but pool and water looked dirty.

The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
We changed rooms upon arrival because the bathroom sink was stopped up. it was full of water and floating hair. The room we were moved to had stained carpets, and there was no hot water for showers. The a/c turned up all the way did not cool the room down enough, and we sweated all night.

The beds were comfortable
The lights were blown outside by the side entrance, it was dark and felt unsafe unloading my car. The shower had hair stuck to the shower walls. Long black against white shower. How could you miss that. Carpet and walls were worn multiple patches of torn wall paper In Bedroom. Clerk checking us in said we were not reward members but she repeated my zip and I told her that she entered the zip in wrong. She got defensive so It was late and I just said forget it
