We only stayed one night on our way to another destination.
2.3
The staff was more than helpful and very friendly
2.3
Nothing at all. It’s completely filthy with prostitutes, drug addicts and drug dealers. Didn’t even feel safe in my run down filthy room
The entire property is a joke. If you’re a drug addict or drug dealer it’s perfect for you
2.3
It's clean
2.3
I like the way it looks. The front desk lady was very pleasant and professional.
It was filthy and skeevy. But it was a place to sleep.
2.3
Nothing really.
The door had not number and the peep hole was a hole. No glass or anything. The two chairs in the room had the fabric looking like someone had puked on them and they had been barely cleaned. It was disgusting. The bathroom was clean and the towels were so thin and worn that they were transparent. I understand the concept of an economic lodge and I still desire cleanliness and a minimum of service. The carpets in the room were black worn with use and the staircase going up was so filthy dirty that it was disgusting, filled with crumbs and hair etc.
2.3
the lady at the front was nice
druggies everywhere. they were smoking meth in the room across from ours. there were lots of condemned rooms and my room number didn’t even have the actual room number on it. the parking lot activity after everyone was high was insane. they were chasing one another with large branches, screaming obscenities like at 2 in the morning. it was wild. we survived but lord help it. I think there was a dog Kenneth outside kids playing on scooters at midnight no shoes on like 20 people in and out of one room. the drug room. it was a hot mess. waste of money. apparently the run down hotels we used to have are now at this location. sadly the eagles nest used to be a nice restaurant and the hotel was also pretty reasonable.
2.3
nothing
scary environment, uncomfortable
cockroaches everywhere
2.3
clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed
needs maintenance, (eg static on tv and bathroom sink drain plug not good))

After getting our key from the front desk, we walked towards our room and noticed plenty of health code violations posted due to cockroaches. several rooms were condemned due to this.
We decided to return to the front desk to inform of our decision to stay elsewhere.
dirty and unsafe
2.3
Nothing
The AC was not on. there were cockroaches in the bathroom. No hot water. We stayed for like 5 hours and it’s already the worst experience
2.3
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
EVERYTHING
37 UNITS WERE SHUTDOWN FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. THE TWO BUILDINGS HAD ABOUT ONE HUNDRED ROOMS WHICH MEANS THAT ABOUT ONE THIRD WERE CONDEMNED
MY ROOM HAD ROACHES AND I HAD TO FUMIGATE AND COULD NOT SLEEP DUE TO THE ODOR OF THE INSECTICIDE. IT LOOKS LUJE THERE EAS SOME DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AS A POLICE PATROL CAR WAS AT THE PREMISES

Didn't like anything. Checked in and chose to leave and not return. Unsafe. Filthy. Looked like a homeless shelter.

Receptionist was friendly. She gave me her parking space to park my car,
I had the opportunity to spend two nights at a hotel in Merced Inn & Suites.. The photos on Booking website do not show the actual condition of the hotel and what is happening around the building. This is not a hotel but a shelter for homeless people. Homeless people hang around the hotel and in the hotel itself. The rear buildings of the hotel are used as dormitories for suspicious and homeles types. Police arrive non-stop at this address. In the main building, which remains as a hotel, there are also suspicious types hanging around. For two nights I could hear the screams of some pathological people behind the walls. Due to fears for my safety and that of my family, we returned around 6 pm, bolted the door and no longer left the room. The room was very old. Old stained carpet, the handle of the refrigerator falling off, burned blankets with cigarettes. Served breakfast included in the price of the stay was a cookie and the cheapest, disgusting sandwich from Walmart to be reheated in the microwave.
It was the only hotel we stayed during aour trip in California that took money from my account before we showed up at the hotel. I understood why upon arrival. I didn't want to argue to get my money back despite the persuasion of a police officer who advised me against staying there. I decided to take a chance and stay the night. Now I know that I wouldn't do it a second time.
Near this hotel for a small extra charge there are much better places to stay.
On the plus side deserves only a nice lady at the reception, who tried to calm me down even offering her parking space so that I feel more safe.
Personally, I recommend avoiding the place. The place is not worth the price on Booking. Booking company should verified the photos which publishes on its sites.

no elevator…. extremely loud music…. groups
of noisy teens loitering about
2.3
#1. many cockroaches in room
#2. smelled a lot of cigarettes room
#3. even the sheets had dried cockroaches stuck to it

and lastly. outside the property, homeless asking for money
2.3
clean, nice staff, good location for our purpose.
apparent permanent tenants up all night making noise above and on the side s.
Shower too cold or too hot, no in between.
2.3
Manny was very nice and accomodating.
The cops were there twice and the probation department raided the place within the two days I was there. Long term tenants try to be rude and intimidating. I didn't like the cockroaches, at various stages in their life cycle. There are quite a few rooms with busted out windows. It's like living in the projects.

the property is across the street from Dutch bros
there are semi permanent residents, thy are loud, inconsiderate, and have loud dogs. people were riding motorcycles throughout the parking lot all night and listening to loud music. the water in the sink got scalding hot after a few moments of sink being on. front door did not close all the way without force.
