The breakfast was amazing and filling especially with 2 teenage boys who eat a lot. Parking was easy to find. Loved that the pool had a lifeguard especially since my nephew has special needs. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

I loved how absolutely spotless our room was, how comfortable the bed and pillows were after a very long day of traveling to get there, how close it was to Lorton for the Auto Train, the scrambled eggs for breakfast were really good. Although the water was dangerously hot in the shower, the room was wonderful. It was by far the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. Tip, if you are not checking out early in the morning, put the do not disturb sign on the door as housekeeping is so great at what they do that they like to clean early :-) Overall, other than the shower and not much for breakfast for me, we would stay again.

The person who checked us in had just been chatting away with the customers in front of us, even gave them a blue bag with water and things, I thought that was nice. However, he did not have much to say to me when it was my turn. I am curious if you need to be a member or something to get the little bags? I am sure if I was told anything about memberships I would have signed up since we do travel a lot. That is really no big deal, though. For breakfast, I asked if the potatoes and sausage were gluten free (I have celiac disease) and no one knew. It would be nice if things were marked or the staff were knowledgeable when asked. What we really did not like is that the water in the toilet was HOT, OMG, it was hot. Also, the shower only hot water, and when I say hot. I mean it burned my fingers when I went to test it. My fingers were numb for several hours. We did not get to take a shower before leaving. I went to let them know, but there was no rate adjustment (which I believe there should have been!) or anything. I hope that it got fixed before someone else checks in.
