Bedroom area of room was clean. There was a lavender scent oil that was nice for sleeping.

We arrived late and pillows were not the bed and had no pillow cases. They quickly brought cases, but when he left, I saw the pillows were sticking halfway out, too small for the pillows. Door to the balcony was very hard to open. Only 1 of everything, 1 chair on balcony, 1 bottle of water. Shower didn't drain, so it wasn't clean and door was difficult to slide. Towels were laid on the sink by the shower and hanging far across the bathroom over the toilet, both places are gross for towels. Coffee stuff was just laid on a counter and no trash can nearby. Safe didn't work and couldn't be fixed without us in the room. Day 1 the maid came and didn't fix the pillow cases, just shoved the king sized pillows inside the standard cases, which made them lumpy. Day 2 the maid didn't even come. We were back at 11pm, so we had a messy room and needed towels and coffee, etc. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The socket for electric razor in the bathroom was broken. The TV streaming services could include other popular apps such as hulu, max, etc and not just Amazon & Netflix.

Customer service was good

The room smelt like mold was hot and sticky. The a/c went out the second night. I think it was out both nights. The balcony only was big enough for one person to walk out on with 1 chair. It did not look like the photos that were shown for the room with a balcony.

Italian restaurant for supper. Great food just not Italian.

Our stay was delightful. The whole hotel was relaxed yet elegant, with helpful and welcoming staff. The pool was lovely on hotter days. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the beds are super-comfortable. We enjoyed being right on the Riverwalk, and we also appreciated the security of the porte cochere driveway for unloading the car on arrival.

Very little not to like. Being super-picky, we found the pillows a bit too high and would have preferred softer down pillows.
