Location was within walking distance of my appointments. Room was huge.
The floor was dirty. You couldn't see the dirt, but I saw it on my socks.

It has been called the Graduate Inn since at least 2019. Has a well done retro-American campus theme. Located 1 block from the UGA campus. Onsite coffee and breakfast was excellent.

Room was ok... there were still loud guests at night.
Pool wasnt open and that is why I booked that specific location.

The location was great.
Typically we are big fans of the Graduate Group of hotels. Have stayed in 8 other college town locations in the past few years and Never been disappointed until now. On college tour weekend with our son and this stop was a huge let down. It's tired to say the least. Very dirty. Tile flooring in our room was absolutely filthy- walking barefoot made your feet black with dirt and if you wore socks you'd have to toss them as they'd never be clean again. Bummer

Last minute reservation due to power outage at home. Booking, check-in, and parking were a breeze. Got upgraded to a room in the historic Hoyt House, which was spectacular; very comfortable, clean, and spacious with beautiful furnishings and artwork (see attached photos). Staff were all wonderful to work with. Food, from both The Foundry & Poindexter Coffee, was superb. Sufficient green space to walk our dog. Felt very safe in the hotel “compound.”
Floor of bedroom could have been slightly cleaner. Wish the restaurant offered delivery or call-in-for-pickup (super minimal annoyance though). Would be nice to be provided with additional blankets and feather-free pillows; to be fair, we didn’t even ask - I’m sure staff would have provided them.

Great location, enjoyed the coffee bar at breakfast, staff was friendly. The hotel is UGA themed. Rooms have some personality.
Musty smell, no elevators, mini fridge was leaking all over the floor. Bathrooms are tiny.

comfortable, convenient, friendly, and quaint
the Wi-Fi wasn’t as good as we would have liked.

all good
The table lamp did not work. Made it difficult to see and to try to make coffee.

The hotel is more of a motel complex with a high end feel. It's very nice looking, giving an historic vibe. There's a really nice cafe right on site as well as a public playground directly behind the property.
You have to pay extra for parking. That's kinda weird. The cafe is pretty expensive, but not outrageous. The wifi is great in the lobby, but not so great in the room.

The location was very convenient in Athens, we stayed there when we were attending a concert in Atlanta. It was a very easy drive there. The room was well themed like the other Graduate rooms we'd stayed in. The room was comfortable and spacious, great for a short stay.
I wasn't aware before I booked that the rooms were outside rooms, which was a bit surprising, but after reviewing the pictures there were pictures of the outside of the room, they were just buried under the pictures of the inside of the room. Still a great stay!

The room was in the middle of the hotel which was fine. We slept great and enjoyed the bed immensely.

Front desk staff and coffee shop in lobby.
Very disappointing and underwhelming for the price paid. Pictures from website are misleading. Everything is small. Spiders in our room. Dirty shower. Smelled terrible. We bought a room freshener spray for our stay. No other place to eat or drink if there is an event at the foundry, the on-site restaurant. Lame stay in Athens. Won’t be back.

in room pour over coffee
i wrote to the hotel before posting this but did not get a response. Super noisy, both inside and outside needed minor repairs - paint, refreshed caulking, iron did not work well. No housekeeping, not enough towels, no coffee refresh. Would say the pics on the website were taken with a ton of extra light and a very wide angle lens. Room was small and ceiling low.

The Graduate Athens was charming and the staff was friendly. The room was quiet. The coffee shop was an added bonus.
The hotel seemed to be understaffed and overbooked. Our room wasn't ready on time. The staff accommodated by switching our room type, but it required consultation with Booking.com customer service, which took a while. The staff claimed that our room would be cleaned and towels refreshed, but it never happened, despite us being out of the room all day. The sink was clogged. The soap was out. The floor was dirty. The AC unit smelled like mold. The tv remote was missing. The parking was difficult due to school busses being parked on the property.

Walking distance to everything...get exercise and pleasant surroundings!
We were there when the pool was closed....that would have been nice, but hey that was on us.

Quirky and fun decor made for a nice change from the typical hotel room. Right in the middle of downtown so easy access to places.
Beware that you get charged for parking, pet fee is $35 and you have to buy everything, not even coffee is free. Adds up to a more expensive stay than the room rates might indicate.

convenient location.
I had to pay for parking. which was not stated when I booked the room

Staff were fantastic. Hotel was spacious and very neat as in full size arcade in the room!!! Breakfast sandwiches at the Poindexter were delicious. Staff at the Foundry made sure we had a great evening.
Rooms are about ready for an update. But they were clean and comfortable.

It had a cool vibe in the Foundry building (front desk, coffee shop).
The room smelled musty and was in disrepair (wallpaper peeling off, hanging rack for clothes was coming off the wall). The floors were dirty - our feet were black after walking on them.

Such a quirky, cute, comfy spot with lots to do even on property
They’re renovating! Which will make everything even more awesome, but at the moment you should “pardon their dust”. My room was clean modern (except the window AC) and cozy. Very nice bathroom products (M&G)

location to campus
not nearly as nice as other Graduate Hotels, they didn’t have the room we reserved

lovely retro decor and great location close to downtown
I booked this property because of promotion of The Foundry As a great dinner option with live music. I was the only person in the bar. no oranges to make an old fashioned. And the menu is essentially burger, nachos, tacos or salad. the listing for this venue needs to be updated.

I did not like paying for parking and the ice machine by the room was out of order.
