Pretty bargain deal for it's price considering downtown proximity and the busy conference dates. Free parking, which was quite important to us. There is also a bust going to the UGA campus. The room had fridge, a mini-kitchenette desk and a semi-living room with couch and extra TV. The hotel provided free continental breakfast and have an indoor pool with the hot tub and mini-gym. Overall, the place was quiet (did not hear any neighbors either from the top or any sides) but there is a liquor store next door for your convenience (idk, might be an important factor for somebody) The cleaning personnel were also doing a good job daily.

The air ducts need to be cleaned; the return grid was all covered by dirt ad dust. The HVAC AC unit blowout are located right across the bed, so I might have got cold because of that. While the location is close (20 min walking or 4 min driving) to the downtown, the are does not seem that nice. We did not observe any criminal activities on site or nearby but right across the street there is Advantage Homeless Day Service Center and Athens Probation Department, so you will meet homeless people everywhere around and even step over some of them sleeping on the It wold be nice to have some meat protein in the breakfast menu too.

The facility needs a major update. Peeling paint, dirty windows damaged furniture.

Felt old with rusty, dusty lamps, string mildew smell in the bathroom & tepid temp with low shower pressure.

They are very clean and accommodating.The staff is great.We did have an issue in getting a coffee maker for the room.The one essential part was missing,and the top for the ice bucket was gone aswel.i had to go to the desk a few times during our stay to get it resolved.

The pool is open indoors but absolutely freezing!Main purpose was to find a little get away with an open pool for my son.They can't change temperature of it so it's miserably cold.The prices for a water bottle is highway robbery.

The cleanliness of the the hotel and the staff. Especially, Ms. T. She was wonderful in how she assited families at breakfast. Please make sure she has what she needs. There were requests for milk, and certain cereals, that had not been delievered. I listened to her explain that the truck delievery had not arrived yet. I was mostly concerned for the family who's autistic son couldn't find the breakfast food he requested. McDonalds messed up their order and the hotel didn't have rice crispy cereal.

Nothing can be done about this. The homeless shelter across the street is alarming, however, it's not necessarily a bad thing, just be aware of your surroundings. You should do this any and everywhere anyway.

The receptionist Ms. Mae. Was so sweet and helpful. She made our stay pleasantly peaceful.
