The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood. Multiple police cars were outside the building at different times. I only stayed 1 night.

How they kept my $50 deposit for no reason because of left the room exactly how I found it

A lot of people on the property hanging around. Like homeless or drunk people.

Didn’t feel safe

They canceled our reservation. We went to the  motel  and they told us our reservation was canceled. We had to scramble and find another place to stay. We never received notice whatsoever.

This is a beautiful, modern hotel.

I didn’t dislike anything about the property.

The exterior is decent and room was sufficient.

The close proximity of panhandling on the property.

Breakfast was toast or an apple and coffee. It was what it was.

The TV remote didnt work except for the power and volume. I had to use the buttons on the TV. I booked the hotel because it had a fitness room but when I arrived I was told it was being used for storage and was unavailable. Shady area with alot of shady characters walking around. When I asked if they had a partnership with a local gym for a free day pass which most hotels do, the young man at the desk was pretty rude about telling me they dont do that.

It was clean. Employees were nice.

Wrong section of town. Not a comfortable room.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Location was okay for WakeMed. Wasn't too impressed with the neighborhood though.

Pillows for overstuffed. Need heavier blankets on the beds.

The hotel was not clean at all, the room and bedding was dirty, and what looks like left over towels from the last person were dingy, shower curtains look like they were white, but was soiled and discolored, not enough soap or towels for me and my hubby. We were there for one night so we did not ask for additional supplies, but the fact that these things were sparingly offered, and as i said before it looked like the towels were what was left over from the last guest, it made me think that they were cutting back on cleanliness as well, as a matter of fact upon arrival i realized that they had a man who seem to be the housekeeper, so that sent off a red flag as to how clean the rooms would be, and i was right, the place was a “man clean” not at all as a woman who knows how to clean, and knows what is clean and what is not. Another huge problem was the AC/heating system, it was so noisy, i could hardly speak, and then when it shut itself off, the room got very hot. All that said, the conclusion is that we will NOT be staying at this brand of hotels again.

price was reasonable but would not stay there again

They put us on a floor that was under renovation. Drywall dust on hallway carpet, plastic covering doors to rooms being renovated. There was no table in room we had to eat on bed.

The hotel is in a very undesirable area. I was rushing too book and didn’t check the address as I am from Raleigh. Is looks like homeless and drug users primarily stay. They say there’s a deposit just in case “damage” aka smoking occurs is the room but the entire building smells like cigarettes. Had it not been 10 o’clock at night I would’ve found other accommodations. I was not in my sleep by what I would call bed bugs. I left early the next day to travel back out of town to work and was itching the whole way. I got home later that day and had SEVERAL welts on my body from my stay that were painful and itchy. This occurred on 1/11/23 I filed my complaint with Wyndham on 1/12/23. Today is 1/16/23 and I have heard nothing from anyone about refunding my stay. They keep telling me to wait until someone reaches out to me. They always have these franchise locations owned by ppl who don’t know what they’re doing. I will never stay at ANY Wyndham hotel as long as I can help it.
