Beautiful common areas & grand fireplace

A bit dark and in need of an update

It is a great location, impressive lobby area. Our room was big, basic, but nice bathroom area. The restaurant is fabulous. Excellent food. We were travelling so just needed one night but we will go back this summer to enjoy a few days.

Loved the room, everything was clean and functional. The pool and hot tub were 10/10 i loved that the hot tub was outside. The shuttle service was amazing, our group loved the prompt and safe service. Grouse mountain is a must stay if you are in Whitefish.

Loved the view of the landscape and the outdoor fire places were a nice touch. Fun to watch the x country skiers go by as well.

Disappointed with how the staff treated our dog. Lots of threats that we were going to be fined extra if he barks or is left alone. Just kinda ruined the vibe of our vacation. I think it might have been a better approach to offer daycare options which we had already booked for him when we were gone skiing for the day.

it wasn’t right in the middle of town

the bed was awful. I didn’t sleep because of it.

the staff seemed to do whatever it took to serve the company, whether staying late at night to pick me up from the airport or leave their task to drive the shuttle to town. never heard anyone say it wasn’t their job. true customer service even though short staffed and working long hours.

it is older and not as fancy but for the price was great. wished it was closer to restaurants or that their place was open.

Didn’t eat at the lodge but did not like that it is right by the entrance. Not appealing area at all

Staff was wonderful in assisting with our needs. Provided us with excellent dining options other than the hotel. Room was everything we wished for and more. Recommended by friends and we'll be continuing that recommendation, it's a wonderful place to stay. Close to town and access to many attractions. We used the laundry facilities as this was the middle of our 2 week vacation. Nice little gift shop as well. Our friends made multiple purchases there.

Its old..furniture and carpet need updated..no breakfast included..too high priced
