Loved being steps away from the beach . The view was beautiful . Loved having a good working washer and dryer.

Very outdated . The carpet in the rooms were gross and felt like you were walking in wet carpet . Did not smell good . The couch was very old and dirty. The restrooms need to be updated , change out tub and felt slippery when coming out of shower .

The amazing sight of the beach outside every morning was the best.

Location was PERFECT. View was INCREDIBLE. Private beach was WONDERFUL! Plenty of towels, kitchen had what we needed to prepare breakfast and lunch. B08 was a little worn but was a typical beach unit, (it is very yellow.) We would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

There was no staff contact info. A few minor issues but nothing that really impacted the trip. Sofa bed linens were not changed when we arrived. And that mattress was very thin. Only found 1 outdoor pool. The room had toiletries, toilet paper but it was just enough to get you through until you could get to walmart for what you need. No housekeeping services. Sadly, the picture above is not the unit we booked. B08 is very yellow.

Great access to the beach.

I love the area, the beach is perfect. The location of Crystal Villas is perfect in relation to everything Destin. The umbrella and 2 chairs provided on the beach was a nice surprise. I am so grateful that was available. The beds (except for the sofa bed) were all very comfortable.

B08 was clean, but a paint touch-up would work wonders for this very dated unit. It is very clear that the owner doesn't want to put any extra money into it. They collect their money from the summer crowds and move on. We bought about $40 worth of groceries The very first night and put them into a very cold refrigerator. By morning the refrigerator was warm and although I was in touch with vacasa the whole time via text and several calls after 2 days of no refrigerator a repair company Came out and said that the compressor was bad and they needed a new refrigerator but that the building manager would not answer the phone. This is the same excuse I got from vacasa... We had to throw all of our groceries away and we never had a working fridge for the entire week that we were there. I feel bad for the people coming in after us.Because they are going to be really disappointed. After I realized they were not going to do anything about it.We bought a cooler to just keep essential things cold. I am So disappointed in the lack of response and I will never use this company again. Not vacasa or booking. Every time that I contacted vacasa, they would say the same lines of " I'm sure that's really frustrating.We'll get right back to you." And I would never hear a thing again. If the owner really gave a crap about the people that stayed in their unit they would have made sure that we had a cooler or something... A gift card to a local place... we never heard from anyone.. ever. So just a heads-up unit B08 is not a good choice. I would cancel your reservation if you have it for that unit. I was Happy to be at the beach and tried not to let it ruin our vacation.But we spent A LOT more unexpected money on going out then I was planning for a family of six. Also the outdoor furniture could be better. 2 chairs and a random weird table outside. This unit was assigned to us by Booking and was not the one in the pictures that I thought that I was booking.

The view was incredible & access to the beach was quick & easy! The weather wasnt the best but we enjoyed being able to sit in the living room with the door open, see the view, hear the waves and feel the breeze!! Overall, we are very happy with our stay!

My biggest complaint was that we weren't allowed to use our shibumi shade at the beach. I understand that the HOA doesn't allow it and we were provided chairs and an umbrella, but NO WHERE in the booking process was that mentioned. It mentioned the private beach and needing the pass to be on the beach and beach service being included during certain months but never said anything about only allowing umbrellas. There was one line in the rental agreement after booking but it was short and vague. If I had known ahead of booking, I may not have booked here. It was our first time in Destin & we saw the signs in many places so I believe this is a normal practice, but it was disheartening to this pale mama that sunburns super easily & babies that unfortunately inherited their mama's complexion. Also, this place could use a REALLY good DEEP clean! Overall, the place was clean but it neeed some extra TLC than the cleans between renters. Our feet/slippers were black after walking around for just a couple hours & the carpet in the bedroom is 2 toned, but not designed that way. And, we couldn't figure out the overhead lights with ceiling fans, either they didn't work or they needed batteries in the remote/remote was missing? However, they did have a couple of oscillating fans in the unit, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We also had trouble connecting to the wifi, but it was because the email had different information than what was on the modem & we later saw, written on the welcome letter inside the unit. Once I had the correct information, it connected right away, although our service was slow, even with the wifi connected.
