After staying, there was nothing that we liked .

First the front desk staff was very unfriendly. Then when paying for the room they added a $50 charge to it , saying it was some kind of deposit for the room after I already paid for the room , next the parking lot was way to small , had a hard time trying to get my truck into and out of the parking spot . Only two of the five vending machines work and the prices are so high that crazy , $2.75 for a candy bar . Then the breakfast in the morning was just nasty looking and there was no way I was eating anything from that room . Oh , forgot there was blood on the walls in the bathroom , the shower curtain rod was just barley hanging on the wall .

The price and location of the hotel were what sold us on the property.

The rooms need a good cleaning. There were stains on the carpet, especially around the little trash bin. The room also got extremely humid if the AC wasn't on full blast. Additionally, the toilet was not secured to the floor properly. The breakfast was adequate.

When we checked in, the the front staff were very nice with their courtesy.

One of the female staff didn’t have manners. She came into the breakfast room, then picked food from pan with her fingers and put into her mouth there! Even kids know they should use tongs and eat when they sit at the table.

Hotel was in a convenient location near shops and restaurants. Desk staff was very friendly when we checked in. Hotel has a neat log cabin look outside. They offered a hot breakfast which was unexpected. The beds were comfortable. Loved the walkout sun deck.

The room was outdated but that’s common in Mackinac and up north. The pool area didn’t have a bathroom or hot tub. Carpeting throughout the hotel was dingy and old. Breakfast room was super small and got crowded very easily.

Property is convenient to restaurants and shops

Some sort of “manager” was beyond rude harassing us for money kept calling us before we even checked in even though we don’t have to pay till check in. Accused us of swearing at him because he misheard us. Not much customer service here. I know people deal with all types of visitors on a daily basis but geez not much personality here. Place is also nothing special, nothing like the pictures online and pool was just awful.

Dirty and smelly rooms. Unfriendly staff and top it all off.... They ran my debit card for extra money while I was there. AND NO WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOIT A DEPPSIT.

Breakfast room is very small. No hot cereal, jam or peanut butter, or tea bags. Sausages in an electric frying pan on a table near the door, not very safe. Coffee cups are individually plastic wrapped which slowed everyone down.

Staff did not smile or greet customers. No sense of appreciation for coming to their hotel. Could not figure out how to print a receipt for my stay.
