I get what a budget hotel is, but to rudely ask for a deposit? Deposit for what?

No tenían terminal para pago con tarjeta, fue difícil ver lo del pago, los servicios que se suponía tenía la habitación no funcionaban (tv, horno de microondas, cafetera y estaba sucia, y añgunas lámparas de luz), el aire acondicionado viejo y ruidoso,

It was close to the airport. Fridge was clean. Good water pressure.

The sheets were nasty, the carpet was dirty and the walls were smeared with who knows what. The room also had this really nasty old cigarette smell. Kinda weird for a non-smoking hotel. On my last night the power went out at 8pm and was gone for an hour. Don't know why the hotel doesn't have a generator. During the day it was nice and quiet but the later it got at night the louder it became when more and more people arrived and some of those had absolutely no respect for the other guests that were already sleeping.

I would have liked if they would let me a night or two in another room because every single time I go there's always issues
