Beds were reasonably comfortable, room was quite spacious.

Arrived with a non-refundable booking to be told that the only unit available did not have air conditioning. If I did not take the unit, I would have to petition Booking.com directly to not be charged. Very poor soundproofing from surrounding rooms. No smoking policy is clearly not enforced and/or rooms are not throughly cleaned when policy is violated. I had to buy air fresheners to be able to tolerate the smell long enough to go to sleep.

It was an older style building, all the rooms on one level like a motor lodge, with accessibility directly from a door that faced the parking lot. The floors seemed to be concrete (not wood floors), so it was really quiet since you didn't hear the footsteps of other guests in nearby rooms. Also, since it was all on ground level, there were no rooms above, which spared me any noise of guests walking around in rooms above mine. The facilities, being of an older vintage kind, reminded me of stays with my grandparents years ago, with the smells and general ambience. The Wi-Fi worked fine for me, too. There are posted "Quiet" times; and at least during my stay, there was nobody that was noisy or making noise. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very soundly through the night.

The shower in the room where I stayed was quite rustic, and the shower curtain did not sufficiently hold back water from getting out onto the bathroom floor. Also, the water pressure for the shower was very harsh, and there was no way to adjust it. The bedding was sort of worn and older... The main thing that could really help would be improving the shower.

we booked a room with two full beds and a twin and only got a room with two fulls.

Older place but the room had everything and it was all in perfect working order. There's a supermarket directly across the street and restaurants within a very short walk. Easy drive to/from the interstate.

Television display only took up half of the screen. Need to adjust this.

The property smelled like farm animals. This added to its character.

Shower was terrible. The water was either cold or scalding hot, nothing in the middle. Staff has a coffee maker and we had coffee to make, but staff just told us to go to Starbucks instead of letting us use the coffee maker. Rooms at most other hotels include a coffee maker.

Cosy rooms. Owner is very accommodating. Pet friendly.

Staff was curteous and pleasant. Room is dated, but comfortable.
