The 24 hr coffee.

The room was freezing when I checked in. There wasn't any heat on and it was a high of 34 degrees that day. The room was out dated, which I don't mind but it was dirty. The walls had something gross on them, behind the night stand was a used tissue, the phone was missing all the insides to it. I don't even know why it was in the room since it couldn't work and the front desk told me that the phone lines in the building are old and don't work. The shower curtain was dirty. I always lift the fitted sheet when staying at hotels to check for bed bugs or really the blood spots they leave behind. Under the fitted sheet was a mattress protector and it had blood spots on it! So either they have bed bugs now or did and didn't bother replacing the stained mattress protector. Either way. I slept fully clothed including my socks and slept with my head on the opposite end of the bed. I used the extra blankets that were not on the bed to sleep on and cover up with. If I hadn't made a reservation or could afford to leave and pay the extra $170 to go to the Holiday Inn I would have! I've never been so miserable before at a hotel! No breakfast. The hallways smelled. It's sad because my parents stayed there for a week 7 yrs ago and it was a good place but absolutely nothing has been done that I could tell to keep it up. Don't stay there!! Today, I'm staying 30mins away from Wilmington near Kings Island at the Hampton and it's super nice and has breakfast for the same price!

The breakfast option was still not available. The location was ok. The room was clean.

I did not like the fact that there was still no breakfast available. There was coffee in the lobby, but it tasted like instant coffee. The tv remote did not work properly. It either needed new batteries or being replaced. The iron would work for a while, then go off. I would have to unplug it and start again.

Manager is always friendly and it's my favorite place to stay or choice for family/friends when they come into town.

Price of room. when we met people who were staying at the Wilmington Inn, just down the road for only $65 a night & they were very pleased with their accomodations.

Location was good.

No working microwave even after alerting the manager about the issue. The manager said it would be replaced with a new one the following morning and it never was so I ended up having to buy my breakfast each morning. In order to get clean towels, I had to put the dirty ones outside my door. In order to have the trash emptied, I had to set the trash cans outside the door. The workers never came in to clean my room for the 4 days that I was there. I was gone all day so they had plenty of time to clean the room. I was disappointed.

There were no bugs

Cleanliness of room. Property was ran down. Ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. No elevator.

Staff was nice

The whole room smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke we couldn't stay the whole time. We left for quite a while in middle of the night to get away from it.

There was no breakfast, so "What did like about the breakfast?" is a moot question. The staff was cordial and helpful.

I sleep on my stomach. The mattress smelled like insecticide. Upkeep of the entire facility was wanting. There was no breakfast. At least there should have been coffee/tea available.
