Wonderful beautiful place. It was very relaxing. Staff responded to our room needs quickly. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Not a lot of things to do except pool,corn hole, and eat. Access to some things are limited. It was very hot and even the outside bar was closed. It would have been nice to have access to drinks while at pool or walking the grounds or even just sitting outside.

very relaxed atmosphere, cordiality, comfort and dining were all good features. we were in transit so our stay was brief. We plan to return for a longer stay at some point.

Honestly, I'm so amazed when I come here that the Inn has a personal touch while serving so many customers. I had one lack luster breakfast when the kitchen was understaffed.

Gorgeous and peaceful atmosphere- the pools were very relaxing and the seating was comfortable. The in-house restaurant, Knoxies, was delicious! The chef’s garden was incredible and we loved all of the seating areas around the property!

These are rather minor, but the housekeeping staff didn’t restock toilet paper or clean the room daily, the front of house staff wasn’t very helpful, & one of the pillow cases and the duvet cover had fresh spots/stains. We also thought it was unfortunate that we couldn’t order food/drink from the pool. We had also planned on getting a massage, but the Spa was closed during our entire 4 day/3night stay. We selected Garden View and we’re told we’d have a garden view, but instead we had the view of a roof and a road.

The hotel continues to be beautiful and very well maintained. The front desk staff was very personal and friendly. We had a problem when we arrived, but the manager came out of the office to attend to the issue immediately. The Dinner was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive.

They did not have a reservation for me when i arrived. I had the Booking reservation on my phone so I emailed it to the hotel manager and they honored. Luckily they still have rooms remaining, or it would have been a spoiled get away.

We like the Inn very much. Location was great, grounds perfect, design attractive, sofa and chair in LR not comfortable, loved the fireplace!!!!!. Bed could have been more comfort, the room was hot with heat off and window open and the bathroom a light dark. Love the bicycles. Look forward to returning again . The town was charming and friendly.

Sofa and upholster chair in LR uncomfortable. Bed could gave been more comfortable. The Market Cafe was closed on Thanksgiving and since there were a lot of guest in the hotel perhaps it should have been open.

After a long trip, staying at several hotels, we were fortunate to find The Inn at Chesapeake Bay. This is the most well-designed hotel we’ve seen, inside and out. Our king suite had two separate rooms, one with a fireplace. We ate dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, Knoxie’s Patio. Dining on the patio in the evening was lovely and the food and service excellent. We then retreated to rocking chairs around a fire pit on the property. The Inn has two pools. One day I had the smaller pool all to myself! We highly recommend the Inn at Chesapeake Bay if you need restful retreat. And these days, who doesn’t?

The air conditioning in the room was set at 74 degrees, which was too cold for us.
