We loved our stay!! It was within walking distance to everything and the town is adorable. The staff was amazing. Antonio went above and beyond for us! It was a wonderful trip.
The only downfall to the stay was that we didn’t stay in the main house and our room was right on the road so it was a little noisy. Earplugs were provided though. Next time we will definitely stay in the main house and that would not be a problem at all! I would definitely recommend staying at the Homestead Inn and I would try to book in the main house if possible.

My husband and I liked everything about the property and those who work. Comfort and Cleanliness (thank you Nancy) are 2 key factors and they came through without a doubt. They made certain that my specific needs were attended to each day!
Antonio greeted us with a smile and walked us up to our room making certain we did not need anything additional, explained breakfast sign-ups and housekeeping service, where to go for dinner, and spoke in length about the Elephants Trunk Flea Market. Nicole and her assistant was extremely nice in the morning and diligently made breakfast according to my dietary needs.
I would suggest perhaps a fire pit in one of the areas outside. Not necessary though as there are 3 areas to relax in outdoors.

Liked the position close to the village green and attractions in the area. Staff were very personable. Loved the cookies and information provided by Antonio. A range of teas was available in the main house

Nice location, comfortable bed and good to have beverages available.
Our room was very cold on the first night. We were instructed not to touch the air conditioning unit but it was set to cold on a very chilly night. This was resolved when staff were told the next day.
On the first night we had very noisy neighbours in the room next door at 12 midnight!
No curtains so the light came through the blinds.
No breakfast on weekdays for annex guests.

The Treadwell Ave rooms are basic but lack a coffee service which you find in most inns, motels and hotels.
Also I enjoyed hearing all the conversations from the next door neighbors, I can see with the upgrades made sound deading was not one of them

There was nothing to like here. We did not receive breakfast. So Homestead Inn is not really a B & B. It is just a B. There is absolutely zero personal service here. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. I never had even one encounter with any person owning or employed by Homestead Inn. Never met or talked to ANYONE.
At least some personal service could have been extended. A greeting or a we are glad you are here would have been nice. Nope. Not a person to be found. Never made it inside the main building. Check-in consisted of standing outside in the cold, opening an envelope with my name on it and finding my way to a small very disappointing room. As I said, no breakfast included. Do yourself a favor and pass this place by when looking for some place to stay. I have nothing good to say and would never even consider it again.

The room was very clean and pleasing to the eye. it was within walking distance to restaurants.
It was located on a busy street. The light from the street lamp and
the porch illuminated the room the entire night. The bed was hard an uncomfortable. Couldn’t really rate the staff because we never met or saw them.

booking said charges were $400 including all fees and taxes. I was charged $460 by property

We couldn’t eat in their dinning room. There wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. So we had to wait for coffee when we got to a restaurant. No ice! They charged more than we agreed too.
For 2 nights it was suppose to be a total of around 440.00, we were charged 526.36. No coffee maker., couldn’t bring take out into the room. We will never go there again and never recommend it to anyone.

We didn't get breakfast. That wasn't clear when we made the reservation. The shades weren't adequate. It wasn't dark once the sun came up. I've never had to ask for a shower cap. That is ridiculous.

it was Antique but very well maintain. it was a pleasure to be in the Main House.
The room we had was in the corner of the building next to the main house and was very noisy when I wanted to sleep, good thing they had earplugs.

Very nice room--clean and comfortable.
I never saw anyone--no staff or other guests--I checked in during the afternoon, went out for a meeting and dinner, and left early the next morning. Seeing someone from management would have been nice--not essential--but nice.

Ultra modern room
Only 1 bar of soap in bathroom. We really needed 2 bars.. 1 for sink and 1 for shower. The room temperature controls were difficult to operate. Breakfast was an up charge and should have been included for all rooms at the Inn.

Location was good. Unit 5 in the annex was subject to a lot of road noise from Elm Street. The unit was probably the better one for natural light with lots of windows

I loved the location of the inn, it's very close to downtown and very walkable.
The sheets smelled like chlorine which was good for cleanliness but overwhelming when youre trying to sleep. The place was tidy but we didn't get breakfast included which was a bummer.

The location was convenient for our visit. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows were nice (appreciated the overstuffed sham pillow for when sitting up in bed). It was immaculately clean and smelled fresh. My husband said the breakfast area was also nice and the coffee was good. Toiletries were also nice (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nice soap and makeup removal cloths. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
