Perfect location for my needs-5 min. from venue. Inn has the most Arts and Crafts furniture I've seen since Grove Park Inn Asheville, NC. Proprietor cordial and friendly.

Great location in a beautiful historic part of Wausau. Randy made wonderful homemade cheddar biscuits and gravy with fruit and served excellent coffee! Loved the atmosphere. Great host to all of the guests.

I stayed just one night for a work trip, and everything exceeded my expectations. The inn was beautiful, and you could tell the owners were passionate about what they do. The wine reception was very nice, and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were also very lovely, and I enjoyed the steam shower and other extra amenities that really added to the experience. I highly recommend this place; if I am ever in the area again, this will be my first choice.

what’s not to like.

A dream of a place--like visiting a museum, but you get to sit on the chairs! Beauty all around you. If you are an architecture fan, you MUST stay here! The delicious breakfast, great coffee, and friendly hosts are all extras! Plus Wausau is a terrific city to visit.

The location was easy to walk to several nice restaurants and bars. The breakfast was delicious and I especially enjoyed the house.

The breakfast was mentioned in several reviews as being amazing. It still exceeded our expectations. We very much enjoyed everything about our stay.

Host, Randy, was very welcoming. Knowledgeable about the area. Good recommendation for dinner. Loved the location of the Inn for access to restaurants, art center, river walk. Delightful Inn mascot, Buster.

Randy who greeted me at the door and explained everything was amazing. He catered to all my needs. He made it possible to have breakfast before everyone else because I had to leave early. Breakfast was amazingly good. I was glad to see they had a good selection of organic tea (I am pregnant so no coffee). The bed was great, Randy said if I didn't like the pillows they had 15 options!! There was a drink station on the same floor as the rooms. Tablet and echo available in the room. Bathroom had a steam option, the water pressure was amazing, and they had shampoo/shower gel/conditioner. Books were also available in the room if you like reading. There was a 5pm wine social hour. I will be going back and staying longer. For those who have COVID concerns they were accommodating to that as well (i.e. social distancing breakfast, option to eat outside or in their enclosed patio area as needed).
