Location/ room was good sized

The elevator stunk bad, the hall had no AC and smelled like mildew and the room smelled like mildew as well. Seemed like there was a leak prior to our stay and the hall was drying so it made the room smell.

Very dirty with mold in the bathroom. Staff will not bring you anything, you have to go up there for anything. Also they told us checkout was 12pm and someone (paying customer) walked in on us at 11am with their own room key like the room was ready and clean (it was not obviously).

Breakfast and spacious room.

The mainstay portion of the hotel looked old and not well maintained. The bathroom had no wash cloths and two towels only for my family of 5. Also there were no linens for the pull out sofa. I had to call the front desk to have these things brought to the room. The blanket in the closet looked dingy. Overall the room was not well cleaned had plenty of dust.

The hotel was nice, we had a problem with the A.c in our room but they switched us to another one and it was really big!! Definitely going back and just getting the bigger suite it was very nice!

Ac was broken but they helped us out the best way they could’ve

Affordability

Lack of staff accountability: Mainstays shares a building with Comfort Inn. The dividing door clearly delineated the difference - updated Comfort Inn, old carpet Mainstay...also, there was an immediate increase in temperature. I reported twice that the air conditioner in the hallway just inside the dividing door was pumping out huge heat. I was surprised that the housekeeping staff did not report the problem. Once maintenance turned off the A/C unit, the hallway dropped to a more normal temperature. Why wait for guest dissatisfaction before attending to a maintenance issue?
