Great location. The house was roomy, clean and felt like home. We were able to cook some meals and we were just a few blocks from the beach. A great place to gather with family or friends. It was a nice quiet neighborhood.

The bedrooms were upstairs. The stairs to the main bedroom (king bed) were fine but the stairs to the other two bedrooms (queen and twin beds) were a bit steep. Not a huge problem but might be for some folks.

I loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. The home was light, very open, and a lot of space. It had a cozy, quaint, cottage feel. There were a lot of little extra things that made me know the hosts take pride in their property. They were polite, courteous and prompt in all of the communications. I loved that we were in a small town, but that Seaside and Astoria were very close and offered anything we would want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this property. We loved Del Rey beach. We also loved that there were other beaches that were not far to drive to.

It says that it is 2000 ft from Del Rey beach. It is not. It is 2-3 blocks walk from the path to the beach. Then another 5 minute walk along the path. Del Rey beach is not easily accessible anywhere though. But this quiet beach is totally worth the walk. We didn't mind the walk at all. I just want others to know the information is not correct if that is a deal breaker for them. I loved that the master was open and light. I did not like that there were no curtains on any of the windows for privacy. Especially the window out to the street that neighbors could see in. Same thing with the 2 twin room. The master had no closet and only a small 4 drawer chest. It needs somewhere for me to unpack my belongings. The benefit of staying in one place is being able to unpack. The washer did not work. We were notified of this before we arrived. They were supposed to have it fixed the day before check out but the repair person never arrived. The host compensated us with a very generous refund amount though. As stated in some of the other reviews the stairs to 2 of the bedrooms are very steep. This is an older, charming home. That can not be corrected without destroying the home. Just want others to know if that would not work for them. It didn't bother my family at all.

Didn't like the one living room floor that was on a slant and would of wanted a keurig coffee machine.

It smells! The carpets were old and dirty. Wonder when was the last time they were cleaned. Laundry room was very dirt with lint and dryer sheets behind the dryer. The furnace vents were very dirty, .when was the last time the furnace was cleaned? We all go sick from the dirt and mold. In the kitchen the vent was covered with grim .

The location was great. Walking distance to the beach and downtown.

It should be should be made clear that bedrooms are all up steep stairs. The bathroom by the room I was in did not have a doorknob. Unfortunately the first time I went in I was locked in and no one downstairs could hear me yelling and banging on the door for sometime. Definitely a safety risk.
