Aris and his brothers truly made my stay memorable and enjoyable. The hotel location and room view were incredible, but their warm reception, availability, and support during my stay not only provided a wonderful experience, but also yielded wonderful memories for my holiday. The entire family knew me by my first name from the time of check-in and there was always someone available at all hours if I needed anything. You can tell they truly care about their guests, not just running a business like so many of the beachfront hotels can be. The hotel in general was spotless, as was my room. I will make a point of traveling to Crete again, just to stay at Hotel Edelweiss.

This is a family run property, as warm as the brothers and staff is towards your every need from check in all the way to check out, it's still operated very professionally. The room was perfect, everything you may need and it comes with the greatest sea view. Just infront of your room with a good size balcony to enjoy your time off the beach.
I could say lot more but simply the following is a total 10/10

Location was fantastic, right across from the beach where there are chairs and umbrellas available. Also close to the path to hike over to Maridaki, which is well worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed would benefit from a mattress topper as it’s a bit hard. We had a huge balcony with table, chairs, and a cushioned bench… and a gorgeous view up and down the beach. The cafe downstairs makes a fabulous Freddo Cappuccino! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bed was a tad hard. A mattress topper would improve the comfort level considerably, but we still got a good night’s sleep.

The location is ideal & the hotel staff made us feel like home. Very relaxed atmosphere. Could not ask more from a holiday. We had a huge balcony overseeing the beach. Just wow!

Polite and helpful management. The beach is right oposite the hotel and - due to the early season - there were no other guests and only very few people outside either .... The hotel provides chaires and if you want you can have a snack and drink on the beach. They even provide you with a special towel to take with you from the room - special !
The room itself had a little kitchen with two traditional electric heating plates , and sufficient cutlery etc. All rooms have a rather big balcony right facing the sea and with a nice sitting area with cushions.
Probably because of the early season, the cafe/Bar did not offer breakfast and had only a limited choice of snacks. Still there are many taverns around some also offering breakfasts.
The kitchen outfit - although sufficient - is rather outdated. Fridge door bottles holder snapped of sometimes causing bottles to drop out..

20m2 would have been better with 2 beds The room is too small for 3. The towel rack near the bathroom will take your head off if you are tall so not a great design. We had to put towels on the corners for safety.

Clean apartment with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Good Parking. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a lift, a mini-kitchen in the room. Nice beach in front and fish tavernas at the other end of the village.
