I like quiet serenity and security of this lodge. I also like the staff. They were friendly, and quick to solve problems. A special shout out to Georgina who went out of her way to make things comfortable for me. i also like the large rooms, huge, walk-in shower, and comfortable bed.

The restaurant situation was a bit awkward. But they made it work. And the TV could be larger.

Even though I arrived at 6am, they let me check in to my room so I could sleep- I’m extremely grateful Kira and David the security kindly escorted me as my security whenever I went for a walk Alu was very helpful with booking taxis/advising where to visit Restaurant was very ambient and excellent beef chowmein

Wifi was bad but I think this is endemic to the entire country of PNG rather than the hotel itself

Clean and tidy

Breakfast is good although lacks more choices. Maybe I would try to ask if breakfast not in the menu is possible next time. The location is a little far from the town center but could be reached by taxi at a reasonable fare price.

Maybe some choices of native food from the kitchen (loal kai kai)

I stay here every time I come to Papua New Guinea and always find the staff wonderfully helpful, the food delicious and above all the peece of the place wonderful for a traveler.

If you need a quiet, peaceful, place for you and your family where you can just relax, meditate and forget all the hassle of work, I highly recommend this simple yet sophisticated set up..
