The hotel is well kept. It looks like recently built. All in excellent condition. Food was great and staff super friendly.

El enclave es idílico. En medio de un paisaje nevado, en la temporada que fuimos nosotros, principios de Abril.
La calidez del hotel. Muy moderno y acogedor. La decoración. El olor del hotel es muy agradable. El desayuno fantástico.
El personal solicito, muy amable y educado lo hace todo muy fácil para ti. Puedes solicitar que te avisen si hay Auroras durante tu estancia.
Tiene diferentes zonas de entretenimiento, tanto la zona de bar con un ambiente muy agradable, como en la planta baja poder jugar al Ping Pong o a los dardos. Servicio de cena con muy buenos platos. Las vistas de las habitaciones. La nuestra con el amanecer y dando hace un cráter nevado. Una verdadera experiencia para recordar.

Easy check-in, front desk went the extra mile with questions and advise based on our travel plans. A reminder to pay tolls, and get petrol before leaving town. We were very pleased, and slept well.

Beds were slightly hard and the midges were almost unbearable lol, but otherwise a great property.

Modern and comfortable room with the lake view so it was enough to sit and enjoy changing views outside. Very good breakfast. I was happy because I could do waffles by myself.

Beautiful location, excellent value breakfast, beautiful lounge area, comfortable beds, helpful staff.
Showers a bit awkward, as the only place to put anything was on the floor. Room is small. Very loud bathroom fan. No bath mat but shower makes room quite wet.

The facility and rooms are modern, clean and very functional. The views out of our windows are nice.
Maybe it is more expensive than we like to pay.

This is a luxury hotel. The location is out on a point all by itself. It has a postcard view from all sides. The restaurant is some of the best fine dining I have had.
Cannot think of one thing I didn't like. We came in as the restaurant was closing, and they held us a table while we checked in. The we sat down to a gourmet meal that was one of the highlights of our stay!

Top class modern establishment in a beautiful setting. Saw the most beautiful northern lights display from here. Unforgettable experience. 15 minutes from the baths. Food was incredible, breakfast and dinner.

The wonderful gent at reception was lovely on our arrival and our rooms had wonderful views over the the crater and lake. We got very lucky (I think!) that we had a big snow storm and all of Myvatn was covered in snow which made it all look surreal and magical. My favourite moment was sitting in the bar having a red wine whilst looking over the winter wonderland outside.

Location is great - convenient for visiting scenic spots around Lake Myvatn. Food is good (both breakfast and dinner). Service is consistently professional and warm. Hotel is modern and clean.
Room size can be bigger. It would be great if there are connecting rooms for family like us that booked two rooms so the rooms can be next to each other instead of across the hall where we have to card-key in and out frequently. Would have appreciated placing us quieter sleepers not in the front of the section/hallway, close to traffic, but back of the section (a request we made a month ago and acknowledged here... fortunately, the hotel is quiet enough overall).
