This was the perfect condo for our family. We were close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. All within walking distance. Kapa'a is a fun, centrally located and easy location. Check-in was simple and easy. All questions I had were answered in a timely manner.
We loved the kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook a few meals and have lunches in vs. out.
The bedrooms were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.
We enjoyed sitting on the patio (lanai) in the evenings after fun days at the beach. The pool was so close and accessible. There are 2 pools, which we didn't know about until one of the residents let us know. The more the merrier.
I loved having the washer and dryer available to dry towels and we did a quick load for traveling clothes before we left. The condo was stocked with detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soup, TP, trash bags. We were surprised with sunscreen also as it was much needed.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation get away! We will stay here again when we are able to return to Kauai.

If you are looking for a place to stay where you feel like a local then this listing is for you. The location is on the East shore which allows access to great restaurants, a short walk to beach access and a quiet condo. This location also gives you access to the north and south shore with an easy, beautiful drive.
For the condo itself - it is air conditioned which is a pro. The kitchen is clean and well appointed with everything you need to get started on living like a local. The principal bedroom mattress is very soft. If you have back issues - buyer beware. The principal bedroom has a damp smell and the carpet is a little yucky. The second bedroom has a rock hard mattress - buyer beware. The bathroom is fine - there is some rust and mold on the ceiling in the shower. The washer/dryer in unit was new and was perfect after a day at the beach or hiking. There is a small pool right outside the door which our kids loved.

We are a family of three and really appreciate having a second bedroom for our 17 year old son and not sticking him on some sleeper sofa. This place checked off on so many boxes and we like to stay close to a family member that has a place near by. The host was responsive when we noted a problem with the sink and had the faucet replaced to our surprise that day. Towels were abundant too. The only thing I would note is that for anyone that is a stickler for an immaculate place, this is close to the beach, with louvre windows so salt air and dust from outside creep in and do their damage. The place was kept clean and so we didn’t really mind because the value for the amenities was worth it. The pool out back was peaceful and we were close to everything so our walks along the beach and through town were fun.

This was the perfect place for my family of four. It’s a great location for getting to the north and south shores for all your adventures and close to the Ho’opi’i Falls. The condo was welcoming and open. They thought of a lot of little touches that you would need and great to have a washer and dryer.

We appreciated and liked the place and the location. It was clean and orderly as well. A few suggestions to make it even better: a mirror in addition to my the bathroom, the master bed was very soft and bad for our backs, the rugs and carpets should be shampooed. But really everything was great! Thank you!

Great Location
We felt we were centraly located for all the activities we wanted. It's a great bonus to have the shopping center across the street. A king bed, a queen and a pull out sofa worked great for our group. We made great use of all the provided beach accessories as well !

Overall the rental was nice and met all our needs. Check in was easy and the place was very clean. The only problem we had was a broken coffee maker. They did respond when I reported it and brought a new one but not until a full day later.

Great place to enjoy the Garden Island
This is a great place to get to any spot on the island without too much travel. The pool is a great size for younger (8 and under) children, and the in unit W/D were great for our longer stay. We used it mainly as a morning and night place for just our family of 4 and found it perfect for that. If you have a larger group that you're traveling with, this won't be the unit that hosts the gatherings, but that's the only drawback. Come and use this a great home base for all your adventure on Kauai!

Wonderful location, watch out for chickens
Beautiful, clean, and well-equipped condo. We have two bedrooms and a living room area which suit our needs perfectly. The rooms are well stocked and we really appreciate the proximity to kapaa town and supermarkets. The pool is right in front of the unit, we did not spend much time in the pool given the season, water is much warmer at the beach. The one thing that is really unfortunate is the roosters nearby crowing at 4 oclock, sometimes even earlier. One of our bedroom faces the lawn/parking lot and it feels like the rooster is crowing at our window sill. We found out that the window did not close properly but did not bother to call management, instead we tried going to bed before 8pm to get enough sleep but that plan didn't work out. We enjoyed everything the island have to offer but was really sleep deprived.

Mostly Good
The stay was fairly fine overall but there are something they could improve in terms of hospitality and cleanliness that would greatly improve the stay. Such things as: having basic condiments (salt & pepper, cooking oil etc), removing mold build up on metal bathroom hardware, having a mirror in the bedrooms (only 1 in condo), fixing wobbly table on lanai, maintaining water in vent for dryer if needed to operate dryer, fixing screen on window in one of the bedrooms (closest to lanai), and giving a clearer description of which building even that the condo is located (first on the right when driving down driveway). Overall the stay was comfortable and AC units in all parts of condo made it a nice escape from the heat & humidity! All things mentioned above can be addressed to make this stay excellent.

For I saw homeless people at the park and heard wanderers ( maybe walkers) walking around the path and parking lot after dark .

The apartment is located right next to the swimming pool, which is awesome with kids! It is well equipted and has plenty of toys for playing at the beach (which is just a couple of meters away). We would totally recommend staying at this apartment if youre planning to stay near Lihue.

Great Stay for our 45th anniversary
This was our First time to Kauai and special for our 45th anniversary. This is a great location easy to get north or south on the island. Also convenient to food stores and the Charming village of Kapaa, with some very interesting shops and excellent restaurants. This is the ideal for location, the unit was clean, easy to get to the water for the Sunrise. This is an ideal area, we plan to come back.

GREAT place for the money!
I don't know about other people, but when I am going to a destination like HI, I want to spend my time and money GOING AND DOING HI. Not staying in a hotel or condo. The resorts are nice, but I don't plan to spend much time in one. This is the perfect combo of location, (right across the street from a grocery store and centrally located on the East coast) beach access, nice amenities (washer/dryer, full kitchen, and access to 2 pools). If you're smart and looking to get the most bang for your vacation buck, this is the place to stay.
The owners were VERY responsive to questions and had info to make the stay better.

Nice location
My wife and I went to Kuaii to watch our son get married. The location for the wedding was Anini Beach, north of Kapaa. We spent 1 week in this condo and loved its location. It is exactly in the middle of the east side of the island. You can go north to Princeville in 30 minutes or you can go south to Salt Pond beach in 40 minutes. You can go inland and see the mountains in minutes or hit a golf course in all three areas very quickly. What an amazing location. You are close enough to walk to downtown Kapaa. Good shopping and eating places are all there.
The condo was very nice and very clean. The rental company was very easy to communicate with and when I thought we were 1 beach chair short, they delivered one. Very accommodating. The beach is very close but very small. It's also pretty rough at that location, but not far away is a beautiful ocean beach that is much calmer and easier to enjoy.
We also thought that the cost of the unit was very fair considering the time of year we went and the options available. Overall this condo was great and the island of Kuaii was beautiful!!

It's beautiful in Kauai
The location is the best part of staying at this condo. I understood there was no AC when I rented this place but if all the doors and windows were it wasn't too bad.
The big reason I only gave the stars was the reason I picked this place. When we arrived there was a note saying the washer didn't work and someone would be out the next day. Next day came and it couldn't be fixed. I was told I could go across the street and do my wash there. That is not what I wanted to do on vacation is spend an hour and a half at the laundry mat. I wanted to do my laundry at the end of my night while relaxing outside with a drink in my hand and watching the moon and ocean.

NO AIRCONDITIONING! There were only two little fans in the place and they were very noisy. My kids could not sleep because it was so hot inside the unit. We were miserable. None of the dishes were clean - they were put away but there was food on most of them and someone put away a lot of the pans and cups when they were still wet so there were puddles of water inside of them. There were only 3 beach towels provided so bring your own if you stay here. There is no swimming or beach entrance in front of the complex - you have to go to the neighboring condo complex.

Great Location!
My family and I stayed at this condo for 8 days! It was perfect. The condo had everything you need to feel at home in Kauai. Also, having the pool right behind the condo was a plus. My husband and I could sit and watch the kids in the pool from the patio. The beach is accessible from this condo, but it is a rocky beach. No sand and not adequate for swimming. This is place is located right across a shopping center. This made dining and shopping very convenient. It is also very close to old town Kapa'a. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place, but a little small for 4 people
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, and well stocked with towels, dishes, and other amenities that made the vacation easier. The beds were comfortable as well. The one gripe was that even with the windows open, the place was hot (during June). The only way to really get a good cross breeze was to open the door. (if the owner feels otherwise, I'd recommend adding that to the instructions). Also, it was hard to know what was part of the complex and what was not. A map, would also have been helpful. (aka....it wasn't till the last day that we found a ping pong table...).
We are a family of 4 with a 2yo and a 5yo. They had a pack-and-play for the 2yo ($25). With the 4 of us, the rooms felt pretty tight and there wasn't much room for luggage and toys. Since the 2nd bedroom had sliding fogged glass doors, we felt limited in that we couldn't really use the main room since we wanted to keep the lights off and also the doors partially open to add to air flow.
We loved the porch and eating on the deck, but again, not really ideal space for 4 people. 3 would have been perfect.

Beautiful, central location
Mahalo for our beautiful accommodations and helpful staff. We love Kapaa and are so pleased to find this 1st floor gem. Basically we had a private pool. Tucked behind the ocean view units kept things super quiet. Trade winds kept things cool. We will be back.

Central Location
We thoroughly enjoyed Kapaa, the Condo was very clean and you look right out on the pool.
The Condo is in the back building and you have access to two BBQs which are in the front building. Safeway is across the street and there are plenty of restaurants with in walking distance. We rented Bikes and there is a great seawall for walking or riding. Be aware the Wifi only works in the Condo, we could use it while at the pool but it is not through out the property.
There is a Boogie board to use and a cooler. You can rent Chairs for the beach if need be and the only thing missing was a blender. We rented a car, which I feel is a must. It's a short drive to the north or the south, be aware traffic can be high especially heading to south to Poipu around 5-6 pm.
This property is great value and we would defiantly recommend it to our friends

A great vacation home that feels like home!
We spent 11 days in this well appointed unit. It has all the comforts of home, and a pool right outside the patio. Amazingly, because it is one of two pools on this property, we mostly had it to ourselves.
The staff is friendly, and they work hard to make your vacation comfortable. The location is central, which means that each day, a drive to anywhere on the island is very doable. We would definitely come back.
