good location

no fridge, bit noisy and no blinds to make room dark, weird towels

Fabulous spot right in the centre of Sienna. Room was lovely & staff very helpful.

Shower flooded one morning as only a curtain & small raised floor.

The staff was great, the location was good, the weather was good also. The food at several restaurants was excellent. The water pressure in shower, the towels, body wash all great.

The shower was not enclosed, so water covered the whole bathroom floor, no outlet in the bathroom (thank goodness), no bidet. Very tight room (just sleeping there, though).

Bathroom was tiny and needed updating. Lots of steps up to the apartment which was ok for me, but not so good if less able or have young children.

The room is good, it's just not made for sleeping. The windows have very poor blinds it a lot of light during all night, a lot of light. And the noise is insane, impossible to sleep, cars don't pass during the day, but in the night a lot of cars passing. Just impossible to sleep...

The hotel is small and located in the very centre of Siena: its location is actually its main feat, just 100 meters away from Piazza del Campo. Also this accommodation had the lowest prices we could find without getting too far away from the city centre. The place is clean and comfortable and the staff kind and helpful

The main downside of this place is its size: the room is very small, there is very little room to put luggage/cloths/etc, and the bathroom has basically no space dedicated to the shower (that is, the shower floor is the same as the rest of the bathroom). Given the location and the price it was not a big deal to accept these, but if you're in for longer stays or if you are looking for a bit more comfort, maybe you should look somewhere else

Too many narrow stairs !

I had a really good time at La Perla. The staff was so nice to me and the location is outstanding.

The shower could be better but I understand that they are doing something to avoid waste of water. Nothing major though.

Really loved the location of this hotel! Right in the middle of the old town, two minute walk from the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. The view from my room was unbelievable - straight across the roof tops of Siena to the Duomo! While the room was small, it felt cosy and like I was in a ship's cabin floating above the city. The bed was very comfortable.

You really needed better warning in advance of how steep and narrow the final two flights of stairs are. If you have a bag that will not fit in the overhead locker of an airplane, it might be too big to carry up the very narrow, steel, spiral staircase. The bathroom was also disappointing, with a lingering smell of drains.
