The hotel is very near the train station. It is a perfect place to stay in and move either to como or lugano for leisure. 5 min from como and about 25 from Lugano. Perfect value for money

The location was good.

If you want air-conditioning, don't go here. Ours was broken, and we weren't the only ones. The employee was keeping a list of all broken ACs. We couldn't switch rooms and there was hardly an apology. We had a very hot night.

The location is great, a short walk to the train station and nested in the town central business district with coffee shops and small boutiques around it. The price partially reflects this location, but iit s still good value for Switzerland. The hotel restaurant serves traditional German dishes and Swiss classical meals, all at high quality standards.

Having stayed here before, years ago, I sense a lack of interest in keeping up with the new., the decor is dated and a revamping is long overdue. The breakfast was basic, almost frugal, coffee ran out and the service was symbolic to put it kindly.

In general the room was comfortable and clean. Another very convenient thing was being able to open the window to get some air.

What we really didn't like is the behavior of the lady who was at the reception. We are smokers and when we went down so we could go outside and have a smoke, the lady was annoyed to open the door for us to leave. In addition to this, it also happened that on our return from dinner at a not too excessive time it was 01:00 the same lady was always annoyed after our request to be able to enter the hotel to be able to go to our room. Last thing, we went to the hotel bar for a latte, the young lady who worked brought the coffee without the milk, we kindly asked her for milk, she raised her arms and huffed. Gentlemen, let us tell you this type of behavior is absolutely deplorable for a hotel of your calibre. If you don't feel like working or taking care of guests, find another job. Never in our life have we received such replies and such rude behavior from hotel staff. Please note that we have traveled enough to have stays in all types of hotels on our resume. What we have seen here in Switzerland has left us dumbfounded. We will take care, despite the room being perfect, to advise all our contacts against visiting your facility. Give your staff a good training course, believe us you really need it at least as regards customer respect and education.
