Frühstück einmalig gut, alles was das Herz begehrt, Top-Frühstücksservice; Lage des Hotels ausgezeichnet. Ausstattung des gesamten Hotels extrem hochwertig, super bequeme und hochwertige Betten, sehr schöner Pool, riesiger Parkplatz, freundliche und sehr bemühte MitarbeiterInnen
Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie und Preisklasse sollten Auflagen für die unbequemen Liegen am Pool eigentlich eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein - waren es aber leider nicht. Die Badetücher musste man sich am völlig personallosen Pool selbst suchen (ganze 3 Stück lagen verträumt irgendwo gestapelt, niemand informierte uns im Vorfeld darüber wo), Bademäntel und Badetasche gab es nicht am Zimmer, sondern erst auf Nachfrage. Obwohl die Bar leer und mit 2 Mann besetzt war, fand es niemand der Mühe wert, einmal zum Pool zu kommen und die dort liegenden Gäste zu fragen, ob sie denn etwas trinken wollten. Unser Zimmer war sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, aber unpraktisch und schlecht gewartet (Badewannen-Abfluss ließ sich nach dem Schließen nicht mehr öffnen, die Türklinke zum Bad quietschte laut wie in einem schottischen Geisterschloss, die Toilettenspülung glich im Geräuschpegel einem startenden Kampfjet). Der Ausblick von unserer Junior Suite auf den künstlichen Plastikrasen des Zubaus entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, der Balkon war winzig. Als sehr befremdlich empfand ich zudem , dass das mitreisende Paar ohne spezielle Nachfrage auf Grund all dieser Mängel einen Nachlass in Form nicht zu bezahlenden Parkplatzes (6 x € 15,-) erhielt, wir als 10 Minuten vorher Abreisende jedoch nicht. Da weiß eine Hand wohl nicht, was die andere tut. Generell sollte in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie der kostenlose Parkplatz (zumal ohne jeden Schatten auf einem staubigen Schotterplatz) eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein. Generell gewann ich den Eindruck, dass es dem Hotel an einer Führungspersönlichkeit mangelt, die das große Ganze im Blick hat und nahe am Gast ist. Wir empfanden das Gast-Hotelpersonal-Verhältnis jedenfalls als sehr steril und unpersönlich.

There is no shade in the hotel parking lot. There is only one towel hook in the bathroom. The pool water could be warmer.
The menu of dishes in the hotel restaurant and their taste is rather average. For lunches and dinners, I recommend using the restaurants in the surrounding area. The beach in this area is dirty and the water is cloudy. We therefore did not go to the beach and spent most of our time at the pool.

The hotel is stunning and finished to a very high standard, the room, bathroom, pool and facilities are all beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is a large secure car park onsite if you are driving. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options including very tempting pastries and omelettes and crepes made to order. Great location within walking distance of the port with its restaurants and shops. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, with beds and towels provided and i had a very nice pedicure. The gym was well equipped, which is generally what my partner judges a hotel by and was pleased to be able to get a good workout. We look forward to returning again, but probably end of season so as to enjoy another fairly quiet and relaxing stay. One of the unexpected highlights was a classic char rally which stopped at the hotel, the staff did amazingly well considering the number for the banquet and still had time for the guests.
We stayed at the end of the season and found that some of the water jets in the pool were not working. Our room was stunning as was the bathroom, the only small point to note were that the shower screen doors didn’t quite join which lead to water on the floor, however, the towels were changed regularly and so this didn’t cause us a great issue. The only other issue was plug adaptors but there was a shop just down the road with plenty of adaptors for the round EU plugs to the 3 straight pin EU plugs - it would have been nice had these been available from reception as we’ve found at other 5 star hotels in Italy.

The breakfast was incredible - such a wide variety available. As i was there for work i didn't manage to experience the spa or bar areas but what i did see from the outside was excellent.
I've had to really struggle to think of something that i didn't like. I guess if i had to pick one thing it would be that the sweets in the room were €5 for a small pot, but thats about it. :)

The Staff, big clean room and very comfortable bed. Great restaurant at the beach, very good food and service. I recommend Friday’s fish market at night.
The shower could use new caulking and more cleaning in the corners, there’s some mold. The faucet was missing a part and had a leak. I told the ladies at check out and they took notice and thanked me for the feedback. Many guests were coughing at the pool but that’s not the hotels fault. Maybe asking for a negative rapid test from all guests would be good - I did the tests for the whole family before coming to Cesenatico from Verona but nobody asked for them. I know I would feel safer.
Also, I was not aware that as a guest you need to pay to be at the beach (with beds and umbrella) and the charge depends on how close you are to the water. On a Saturday almost impossible to find a place to “park” at the pool. Other guests reserve spots and don’t show up until late - if at all.
