The hotel is in a good location, everything you need is nearby: shops, cafes, currency exchange and the sea is a few minutes' walk away. We must thank the owners who offered us for free a room upgrade from a standard to a superior room. Special thanks to the chef cook who prepared a delicious breakfast that changed every morning. Of course, it should be adjusted that almost every private house in Georgia has pets and dogs that can bark at night, as well as a lot of seagulls that hover over the city at night and can make a little noise. Knowing Russian will open many doors, because not everyone knows English.

Very nice cosy hotel, with tasty breakfast

The staff at Hotel Phaliashvili were warm and welcoming. On several occasions, they went above and beyond - offering us umbrellas for the rain, and sharing home made wine and chacha. Our train wasn’t until 5pm, and even though check out was at 12, they allowed us to keep our bags at reception. The facilities were great and the water pressure is awesome. The location is convenient for walking to the old town, but is also close to some great cafes and bars. 10/10 would stay again.

All was perfect

Staff was helpful (maybe not good in English, but we managed). We stayed one night and we got towels, slippers, shampoo. When we were checking out we had to wake up really early, and they made for us breakfast so we could eat it before our departure, so it was really nice of them.

The location of the hotel was very good. It was also quite affordable in terms of price performance. Hotel staff speak Turkish well, but their English is not very good. The breakfast was also sufficient, let me also point out that they do not use products made from pork. (for muslims)

Great value for money! The hosts are very friendly and try to help with everything. They even took our bags up as the elevator was temporarily broken. It was fixed within an hour. Breakfast is fine, not too fancy but everything you need is there with several options (meat, salad, dairy, bread and warm options). Location is good, just 10 minutes by foot from the beach and the old town. We had a room on the top floor with massive extra room with a sofa and fridge. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time before the water to warm up in the shower.

Excellent staff, hotel and location

When we arrived they cancelled our confirmed booking of two nights with them. But they allowed us to stay for one night only I think this happens frequently in high seasons by other hotels too, sad, but a fact of life. I however, recommend staying in this hotel due to its central location

Nice place to stay in Batumi. The hotel staff was really helpfull. They explained us how to get to the botanical garden and helped us in room cleaning from water after the storm. They also let us to left our luggage in the reception for a half of a day at our last day of stay. The washing machine service was cheap and good quality.

location is great, the room is -although basic- spotless clean. staff go out of their way to help, they moved their own car so that we can park, they insisted we have tea and cake from their breakfast buffet although we didnt pay for breakfast. we will definetely come back, if we are evet back in Batumi
