some staff were lovely, others just didn’t care at all. we weren’t able to use the pool as there wears weddings on in the pool area for the 4 days we were there. allocated a room directly looking into wedding area with spotlights shining directly into the bedroom. music was unbearably loud. although the wedding looked fantastic it did unfortunately affect our stay and hotel staff didn’t seem to care.

The way it is maintained. Really glorious and marvellous.

Parking and open space

The rooms were very nice and the whole place is very clean and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

The rooms were not ready on time and we were not given the correct room so we had to get another bed in place and had to ask the room service several times to give the extra water, condiments and toiletries for the third person.

It’s a jewel-like heritage property, a destination in itself. Eating on site is expensive but the food is good quality. Owners seem caring and hands-on, always a good sign. I liked the live music in the mornings and the beautiful pool. The gift shop is well stocked and prices are actually fair.

Cleaning staff needs a little more attention to detail - I didn’t get toilet paper for 1.5 days and the underside of taps etc were dirty. Towels looked grungy and had stains - yuck. I booked especially because I thought I could get a massage and the spa was closed. Guests should be informed of this before booking. There are other spas within walking distance - I would have liked to have that information when I enquired about the spa.

We got a good package rate thru Booking.com, which included breakfast. Shahpura House has an awesome ambience in the lobby area as well as in the rooms and restaurant, good variety in breakfast buffet, a small clean swimming pool. A two day stay is not enough to check out some of the hotel features such as the rooftop restaurant, boutique, snooker room etc. Good location within the city, but a little away from tourist attractions such as Amer Fort and Nahargarh fort.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe visit again to enjoy all the facilities .

Second stay in less than a month and the hotel never fails to surprise me! A very well maintained heritage property which gives you a feel like royal palace. Loved every bit of my stay.

Reception responsibilities very very poor .not given crevice at all. Not taken messages. Not passing messages to other departments. Not taking over any package to hand over to others .
