Peaceful, Spacious, Historic Stone Cottage Getaway
Das Stone Cottage Inn liegt im malerischen Dorf Winesburg, nur wenige Minuten vom Herzen von Ohio's Amish Country entfernt. Es bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten eines Zuhauses in einer ruhigen, kleinen Stadt.
Zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Loft, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine Waschküche, eine umzäunte Terrasse und ein fertiggestellter Keller sind nur einige der Dinge, die Sie im Cottage genießen werden.
Das Haus bietet Platz für bis zu acht Personen (zwei Doppelbetten, ein Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten). Es gibt auch ein Queen-Size-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer und Keller für vier weitere Gäste.
Ein kurzer Spaziergang über die gemauerten Bürgersteige von Winesburg bringt Sie zum Gemischtwarenladen, zum Pizzageschäft, zur Eisdiele, zum Antiquitätenladen, zur Post und zum Park.
Montag bis Samstag Check-in ist jederzeit nach 16:00 Uhr möglich. (Wir akzeptieren keine neuen Check-ins an Sonntagen, damit unser Reinigungspersonal zur Kirche gehen kann.) Der Check-out ist jederzeit vor 11:00 Uhr möglich.

Beautiful house and plenty of room and amenities.

The house advertises as peaceful. It is not. It is 100 feet from a major truck route with semis, muscle cars, motorcycles and loud regular trucks passing by the front of the house. There is also an outside dog kennel next door. The dogs started barking at 3:45 and 4:45 waking us up. You could not sit on the cute screened in porch because of the noise. We asked for a partial refund but was denied. We need a vacation from our vacation.

Beautiful cottage that we have repeatedly stayed at and have thoroughly enjoyed. Winesburg is a wonderful village full of wonderful people. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and the property manager - great folks.

Very clean. Just the right size for the nine of us. Close to the places we visited in the area. We were able to both cook there and eat out. They had a nice folding table we used in the living room to play both board and card games. The bathroom was well set up for our special needs daughter to use. The whole first floor was wheelchair accessible for her. We all enjoyed our stay at the Stone Cottage Inn.

The cottage was so quaint and comfortable, it was difficult to leave to visit the area. Very well stocked with so many extras, better in life than the pictures. Enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay again, hopefully for more than three nights

This house is so amazing. It was nice and clean. The weather was not so great but we still had an amazing time.

This cottage was the perfect place for our 3 generation family to spend some time together. The living room made us happy with the cozy fireplace and gorgeous stone and wooden beam design. We enjoyed the picture book learning how this cottage was restored. The table for dining was perfect for our Ticket to Ride Train board game. Walking just across the side alley to the Beacon Cafe for breakfast was a bonus. Everything was clean and we were happy with so many towels and washcloths. I was glad to have a nice floor fan for sleeping in the loft. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix breakfast on Sunday morning since most restaurants are closed. It was a wonderful stay.

Very much enjoyed our time at this historical cottage in the small town of Winesburg. The local businesses were appreciative and friendly during our stay. Would definitely come back again.

Impeccably restored 19th century home with modern amenities and historic charm! This house had everything we were looking for when planning our family Christmas getaway. Good off-street parking in a beautiful walkable little town. There is a lovely church in town that had a Christmas Eve candlelight service we walked to as well. Park next door for the little kids and 10 minutes away from the Sheiyah market in historic Berlin. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and we are so very glad we found it!

This was our first annual siblings vacation since our father passed July 2022. We picked end of October into November for lack of busy season and it was perfect as was the house and property. We brought our doodles with us and they also had the best time, the fenced in yard was perfect! We truly recommend this property and host!! Six ladies enjoyed our autumn trip to the Stone Cottage. The kitchen has whatever you might need and the space was meticulously cleaned and organized. We smiled when we saw that the plates were stacked every other color. I thought the online description was spot on. I’d love to come back!

I’m not sure how many times we’ve stayed at the cottage. We’ve just adopted it as our favorite place! It’s always clean and welcoming. It’s convenient to everything we want to do. We’re booking, again, for next year’s Girlz Weekend!

The house is beautiful and so clean. You have everything you need there at the home. The Beacon Cafe had delicious coffee and food. We also got to walk down to the ball field behind the house and enjoy a game. We will definitely be back.

I met my aunt and cousin at the cottage, and we had the best time. It was spotless, so comfortable and absolutely adorable. The Beacon coffee shop next door is a must and they even sell fresh flower bouquets from a farm down the street. We plan on making this an annual event now!

We had a wonderful time. It was hard leaving the cottage to explore Berlin. The cottage was beautiful. I enjoy evening with the fire. We made all our meals except one lunch out. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We would of loved a longer stay. We will definitely be back.

This was our third visit and we were snowed in but did not care. It is our favorite Amish get away place. Hopefully this year we will visit it every season change.

Everything was clean and neat. Enough space for our family to hang out, have meals together made in the beautiful kitchen and game time together in the living room. We had fun exploring the antique shops, the pizza at the local pizza place was great and we were close enough to the NFL Football Hall of Fame!

Our Family of 6 stayed at The Stone Cottage in Winesburg. The cottage is just perfect with plenty of space for everyone and is very well appointed with plenty of towels, extra blankets & pillows, a well stocked kitchen and all in such a peaceful atmosphere. The home is so beautiful with the stone walls and exposed beams and fabulous old floors. The town of Winesburg is really neat as well and is perfectly located a short drive from many key Amish Country attractions. We definitely hope to stay again sometime.

The cottage is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. It’s centrally located to everything in the area which was very convenient. My family went to the Walnut Creek Bethlehem Walk and came back to a warm cozy cottage decorated like it was right out of a Christmas card. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had no trouble finding everything we needed. My only small complaint is the beds could be more comfortable, but everyone’s preference is different so that may just be a me and my chronic pain thing. Otherwise, 5 out of 5, would recommend!!
