gorgeous property with a massive pool which I loved for doing laps. meeting the owner and getting the history of the house was special. we needed a quiet night in after doing a lot of travelling, was a perfect stay

Villa Carenza is a wonderful place to spend a holiday in beautiful surroundings. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and atmospheric, which creates an incredible atmosphere of relaxation and rest. Host Michele is extremely courteous and helpful, always ready to give advice and tips on the area. The area around the house is beautiful and green, and it also offers a beautiful large pool, which is the perfect place to cool off on hot days. I can't wait to come back here again! I highly recommend Villa Carenza to anyone looking to spend time in a charming and relaxing atmosphere.

A beautiful place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Carenza. A picturesque italian accomodation, quiet, safe and calm rustic environment, very well located with a private parking lot. It's the perfect base to visit Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, and so on... In a short 5-10min drive you're in the center of Monopoli.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Carenza. Michele was a wonderful host. He gave us a very warm welcome & was accommodating throughout our stay including arranging taxi services. The room was clean & spacious with good facilities. Our terrace was huge & had the most beautiful views over olive trees and out the the sea. The grounds are beautiful & so peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Loved how there was coffees in the room. Couldn't fault anything just wish could have stayed longer!

I loved the place! First of all, the host Michele was AMAZING! He looked after me and made sure I was taken care of. It’s a historic house, charming, very well kept, clean and in a very strategic location. I’ve visited so many cities around and it was very easy to get to. For me, my stay was 20 out of 10. I definitely recommend!

Beautiful historic building with gorgeous gardens and pool. Perfect location to explore all of Puglia.

The pool and the garden was fantastic, authentic place, old trees, Alberto was so Friendly and helpful.

The single beds wasnt comfortable and We haven't got hot water in one of the bathrooms.

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful historic building. We were in one of the 3 apartments to the rear of the main house. The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom Meridiana apartment was spotless and was cleaned midweek during our 10 day stay with two towel changes and a bedding change. The layout is such that each party has their own private space with the ever so friendly Otto and non stop tail wagging Ron (the resident dachshund and retriever dogs) patrolling their patch! The gardens and swimming pool are immaculate with jasmine hedging around the pool. The eucalyptus lined driveway and grounds are beautifully laid out and maintained with exquisite landscaping. Thank you to the Carenza family for sharing their family home and history. This was a memorable stay!

Lovely place to stay! Very quiet and the owners are really helpful. We rent a car and the parking was exactly next to our door :)

The best location we haved been.it is like you have your own park.it was the best choice for our 2 and 4 years old kids.we will come back for sure in Puglia only for this accommodation.the owners are also the best.they helped us with everything we needed❤️

The Villa and the grounds of the villa are fantastic. You feel like you travelled to the countryside in another age while still living in the present. It has a very romantic and laid back feel to it. The place is so vast that you will have to make an effort to encounter the other guests. The pool is large and clean and has quite a nice depth towards the end and having your own terrace to sit in the evening is more than great. We did not stay in the main villa but in one of the large auxiliary buildings which was very nicely furnished with classic furniture and well equipped. Beds were large and confortable. Parking is available on the grounds and is free of charge. Location is within a short drive distance from the main attractions of the area. You do need a car. Michele the owner is an excellent host and will definetly make you feel welcome. I definetly recommend it!

What I do recommend to all the places oriented more or less towards self catering is to have a few proper red wine glasses, not of the expensive kind but of the right size. They can help to make the evenings even better.

Everything was perfect.

It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the silence of nature. We had an apartment equipped with all you need, you feel at home. The pool is amazing, the park is beautiful. Easy access with the car, free parking place, close to Monopoli. Polignano al Mare, Alberobello, Castellana... Michele is the perfect host, he help me to organize a wonderful birthday surprise and also with the places to visit and to eat. Thank you very much.

The property was big, quite and beautiful! Easy to reach by car and lots of privacy.. the pool was a blessing with these warm days. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The accommodation host was most friendly and always ready to help.

Michele was a Great Host. The hotel with the park and the pool are amazing. The scent of flowers was beautiful.

Beautiful place located 15 minutes away from the buzz (car needed). Lovely host family, kind and attentive, with 2 happy dogs. We stayed in the studio, which is just like a very spacious and nice hotel room, but with a small patio, great to enjoy meals outside. Lots of of parking space available and an amazing pool that we didn’t use unfortunately.

Hot water for showering was limited, enough for something like 10min. I learned that after my wife took a long relaxing shower and I was left with cold water... You have to wait some good time for the system to refill and heat up again. Kitchen is outside the room, making it slightly uncomfortable when the weather is bad. It lacks some utensils and cleaning items, although the host mentioned that they offer it, but forgot to include when I arrived. As there were no guests in the other room facing the kitchen, I can’t be sure if the kitchen needs to be shared or not.
