The host Magda was wonderful! We stayed in the "kitchen" where here grandma used to cook. The room was super cozy and clean, as well as nicely decorated. The area is great to relax and explore the neardby villages (car is necessary).

Looking for a corner of paradise in the Val D'Itria, we found it in Il Carpino. Ideally located in the midst of olive, fig, and fruit trees, and a few kilometers from the beautiful towns of Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, and Cisternino, Il Carpino is the perfect place for anyone looking for days of tranquillity in the country. We spent two wonderful weeks there. The Val D'Itria is renown for its curious trulli and in Il Carpino you will find four comfortable trulli apartments to choose from. Magda, the owner, was the perfect host. Exuberant, friendly, and full of incredible energy, she was always there for us - bringing us fruit and lemons from the trees a few feet from our trullo, giving us suggestions regarding local restaurants, supermarkets, and spas, and always disposed to inform us about local culture, history, customs, and traditions. Each trullo is furnished with a well equipped kitchen and all are but a few feet away from a beautiful pool. We unanimously agreed that Il Carpino and Magda warrant a 10 plus, and we have projected to return at our earliest opportunity.

this place is just amazing, so beautiful, so typical, so cocoon. we felt like home. every détails is thougth. we enjoyed thé nature, thé peacefulnes and the good atmosphere. The property was fabulous. The room was decorated beautifully, the beds and bed linens were very comfortable; the outdoor space- private patio area and pool area were great. Most of all, our host Magda was the best, anticipating our every need; always available and provided the best recommendations for local food and attractions. I would highly recommend Il Carpino to everyone for a stay in the Marina Franca area.

Nothing could make it better.

The place is exactly like on pictures, and even better than that. We travel a lot but Magda is probably the most thoughtful host we met so far. The truli apartment has literally everything you need for living, cooking and having fun. Spacious kitchen, with everything from coffee machine to good set of utensils, very comfortable bedroom with air conditioning, nice bathroom. Outside it’s as nice as inside, there’s a private part of garden and then huge joint territory with a pool, cherry trees and many other things. There’s also convenient parking with automatic gate. Everything is really clean, high quality and well taken care of. Magda is very friendly and supportive. Thank for such a a great care and experience!
