We had a last minute booking and David checked us in easily. He was also very kind to share his local knowledge of the area and recommend a few hikes for us. He is an avid hiker so he was able to tailor his recommendations for our skill level.
The room was quiet, clean and fully stocked. We slept soooo well!
There is a full bar and bistro downstairs and we had a good dinner. We also had the optional breakfast the next morning which was very well priced.
Padarn Hotel exceeded our expectations and we look forward to staying her again next time we are in Wales!

the location was good and the staff were very friendly
the double room we booked was a twin room with 2 single duvets in a cover so got regularly twisted, the heating was unable to go to go to a reasonable temperature and we were cold quite often, the hot water for the shower wasn’t running in the morning, the bistro food attached was quite poor and there was a leak in the bathroom so none of the lights worked so you had to use a torch on your phone to see where you were

The staff were so friendly and so accommodating. Dinner on Friday and breakfast on Sunday were fab. The showers were tip top. The beds were comfortable. Clean and tidy. Good location on the high street - perfect for Marathon Eryri registration, start and finish.
The room was a bit different to what we expected. We had a family room (1 double and 2 bunkbeds) for 3 adults and 2 dogs. In the pictures when we booked, it looked like the bunks were in a sort of separate room slightly off the main bedroom but in our room it was all in one.

Lovely full english breakfast on par with what I'm used to at my regular Cafe back home.
Nice room with nice on suite.
2 single beds were pushed together to create a double, I like to spread out and the gap between makes that uncomfortable, pay for a double I should get a double.
