Modern and attractive room. Nice restaurant for dinner right down stairs. Good breakfast. Short walk to a beautiful, rocky beach in one direction and then to Boka Falls in the other.

Room was a "forest view" which meant right on the road. Quite noisy with cars going by. Pack ear plugs!

Friendly and supportive stuff! They offered a very nice breakfast (dinner was okay but not as good in our opinion).

Overall a little too pricy - given the fact that the rooms are not very modern (despite the whirlpool in the room) and some windows are facing a loud street.

The location and view from the room were amazing! It is very close to the Boka fall, which is the biggest waterfall from Slovenië. The hotel is also close to the Bovec village. You can park there for free, there is lots of parking space. The breakfast was very good as well. The staff is very friendly and gives very nice recommendations. You can also book some activities at the hotel reception (such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning, zip line, renting bikes).

The interieur is a little outdated. The bathroom is old with a shower cabin. The room/bathroom and hotel in general could use a renovation/redecoration. The restaurant for diner is ok. It was a good stay but we found it a little overpriced.

The hotel is Nice and clean. Also quiet, which is good.

Beds where a little hard and bathroom a little outdated. If you do not have A car, it is better to stay in the center of Bovec.

Our room was just next to the road so it was very noisy with cars and motorcycles; our room had carpet which I find not hygienic at all; in general, the hotel common spaces needs some TLC

Smooth check-in with a bank in front of the reception, calm veranda with a mountain view (for coffee, reading or just doing nothing), very good breakfast, really BIG family room (fits also for 4 adults). Vicinity of the Soča river and the Boka waterfall.

Great setting, in between a waterfall and the river. Very nice staff, fabulous breakfast (the apple pie is to die for!!) and VERY comfortable rooms and mattresses.

the only thing that i’d mention is bathrooms could be renovated as they are not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel

It is a very airy, comfortable and spacious hotel extremely well located for the Soca valley. Breakfasts were exceptional.

There was nothing to dislike but the evening menu was a touch limited and described on a tiny menu printed on slips of paper attached to a clip board. Frankly it was difficult to read for an older person with poor sight. This may have been a gesture towards ecology but it was not really fit for purpose.

Easy to find as right on roadside. Plenty of free parking. Easy check in. Room very clean and a good size. The restaurant was closed but the proprietor did say he could do soup and a sandwich for us. That suited us just fine and turned out to be an absolutely fabulous meal. Tasty homemade soup, beautifully presented followed by the most flavoursome sandwiches that were again, presented superbly. All washed down with locally produced pure apple juice. Interesting chatting with our host who explained they only serve produce from Slovenia and source as much as possible from local producers as well as making and growing as much as they can themselves. The homemade produce was very much in evidence at breakfast time with homemade jams, pancakes and cookies. The breakfast range was varied and included an option for fresh cooked eggs of your choice. An overall enjoyable stay with fabulous hosts who go the extra mile

Externally not the prettiest building and right by the road

Location is by the river in a scenic area but away from the town and choice of restaurants and cafés.

Breakfast was not very good. Lacked good fruits and nutritious serial etc.

The location is outside Bovec, but at the confluence of the Boka and Soca Rivers. And Slap Boka can reached right from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was exceptional! We had to leave very early the next morning and they provided us with a bag of croissants and other breakfast items.

the restaurant. we ate in there the first evening and both our meals were cold. I had the green soup which wasn’t available so they offered me carrot soup but it was very watered down and not heated through. my husband had ravioli and again it wasn’t very hot. the second evening we were told the restaurant was not available but had already decided to eat out. a shame as after reading reviews we were really looki g forward to the food. the hotel was also a little worn out and could do with a renovation.

The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, It was the best part of our stay at Hotel Boka. The breakfast was also nicely made. The room was also very clean.

I wish I would have read the reviews a bit better as we stayed in a room facing the street and heard cars passing on the road all night long. It was not pleasant. The bed was very uncomfortable. Showers were old and very small. Overall I think the price is too high for the lack of comfort and noise in the rooms, especially since I was there in the low season.
