Charming cedar log cabin nestled in the woods, footsteps from Rowley's Bay
Zedernblockhaus ca. 1240 sq. Ft., 2 Queen-Size-Betten, 2 Einzelbetten, Bad im Obergeschoss, 1 Schlafsofa, Bad mit Whirlpool unten. Hochstuhl, Pack-n-Play, Deck, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Herd, Kühlschrank, Soundsystem, Grill, DirectV, Roku und Internet. Doppelkamin. Wendeltreppe. Kurzer Fußweg zu Rowley "s Bay und DNR Marina für Bootstouren und Angeln. Boot nicht inbegriffen. Lagerfeuer im Freien sind vom Verband auf dem Grundstück nicht gestattet. Association Lagerfeuer Grube nur wenige Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Kurze Fahrt zu einem schönen Sandstrand. Kajak Rawleys Bay und den malerischen Mink River hinauf. Kajakverleih und Seilbahn zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt eine Zimmersteuer von 5, 5% in Door County, die in Ihrem Tagespreis enthalten ist, sodass hierfür keine separate Gebühr anfällt.

Nice log cabin in the woods near the water

The property is great! All kitchen utensils and dish ware that you need. Great fishing to walkable pier. Went out at night to see all the stars and super moon! Sad to see Rowleys Bay burned down. We’ve stayed at this VRBO for the last 4 years. Always enjoyable .

This place worked out perfect for our group of 6. The location was lovely and just a short walk to the water. These folks thought of everything, including a charger with a selection of cables for all devices. There were lots of cozy blankets (it really cooled down at night). It's a very quiet area but a short drive to busier areas, if that is your thing.

Amazing, relaxing cabin that is a stones throw from Rowleys bay. Great location for anglers! This would also be an ideal stay for anyone who wants to experience door county but wants to be away from the hustle of the summer tourists. Highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat in the woods. A wonderful time to be in Door County and witness the changing colors of fall. Well equiped property that didn't disappoint. There is not one negative thing to say about our experience. Looking forward to another visit next year!

A quiet place to rest and relax. Your living quarters are on the first floor. Your sleeping quarters are on the second floor. A beautiful staircase leads upstairs. The host makes sure you feel welcome and at home.

This is a great cabin: kitchen supplies stocked, very clean and has everything needed. Our memeory foam mattress was very comfortable and we really appreciated the fireplace loaded up and ready to light … with detailed instructions for their unique fireplace. Property owners were very responsive and generously accommodating. Their experience as conscientious hosts really shows— they have thought of everything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful country home suitable for any season. All of the rooms are nicely decorated, furniture and beds are very comfortable. Large kitchen with roomy dining table and supplied with everything necessary for cooking. Located in a private setting with a deck and front porch. Wonderful place to relax!! Best bang for your $ in Door County. Cozy vacation home that has all you need. Was looking forward to using kettle to make my daily tea that was listed in the amenities, but it was not there. Looking forward staying here next year!

Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Rowley's Bay. This cabin accommodated us well. It was a nice place to come back to after exploring beautiful Door Co. It's on the quiet side of the peninsula, only a short drive to picturesque beaches, parks, lakeshore villages, and the Washington Island Ferry. There is also plenty of fun to be had close by with kayak and paddle board rentals, Segway tours, a zip-line course, and a trail/board walk to nearby Sand Bay beach.

It was very clean, the place looked nice and comfortable. There was a hammock outside that one of kids loved a lot. The environment outside of the house was peaceful, even when it rained the last day there. The beds and couches were set up nice.

It was a lovely place! I picked it because it had enough comfortable sleeping and “sitting around” space for 4 adults. It was perfect! The really nice phone charger they provided was actually put to much use! The location is quiet and surrounded by trees. We would totally stay again!

Ed and Jill were gracious hosts. Accommodations were as described - hosts are thoughtful and generous and provide all that you need for a comfortable stay. Directions and communications were clear and helpful. Location was ideal for time of year (March) and what I was there to do (peaceful retreat). Very close to Rowleys Bay Resort, so I assume “in season” the location would be more lively, but still a more private/quiet area compared to busier areas on the peninsula. I would stay again if welcomed.

Cabin is rustic in terms of constructions and furnishings, but it's comfortable and on par with many properties/rentals in Door County. Nicely wooded lot offers privacy on the quiet side of the peninsula, but still just a short drive to Sister Bay and other larger towns with dining/shopping. Nice for a long weekend away with family or close friends.

Dark and musty in a nice location
This cabin has potential but it needs a good thorough cleaning. The front porch is dirty and the chairs covered with bugs and cobwebs. The inside was not swept properly when we arrived. And there is a nasty smell as you go up the stairs, perhaps the carpeting should be ripped out and replaced. There are cobwebs everywhere and as you try to open the crank windows they're full of dead bugs. Someone needs to power wash all the decks and the outside of this house and spend a good long time dusting and cleaning the nooks and crannies in the inside. We knew we were renting a very simple cabin, but there's no excuse for the lack of cleanliness there.

The cabin is quiet and comfortable. Located only steps from the waterfront and a short drive to nearby attractions. Kayak & Segway rentals also available only steps from the cabin.

We had a nice week away at Rowleys Bay. The property was very comfy and cozy, and was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. Ed was a great host and was very responsive throughout all of our communications.
