Everything important is available by walking. The service was generous and flexible. The room was clean, and we could use the washing machine for our clothes.

The shower was a bit old style. And the sink was dripping. Only cold water was available in the mornings.

We arrived late, around midnight (taxi from the airport costs 14euros) The host waited for us as previously agreed. Thanks Michael once again! We reserved the apartment on the ground floor. The apartment was clean and tidy. Of course you can not expect a deluxe suit for this price, but every apartment can and should be clean. The cleaning lady cleaned our apartment after the 3rd day and we got clean sheets. The kitchen has all the basic stuff you may need. The aircondition was also working perfectly and we had no issues with the wifi. The bathroom is bit smaller, but you can get used to it. Since the apartment is close to the airport (~10mins by car or 4km) you may ocasionally hear some airplane noise, but for a normal sleeper this will not be an isssue. My wife, she is annoyingly light sleeper and I always try to rent something off the city center etc. but she also have not complained about the airplane noise. For comparison, it sound more like a strong wind in the distance, like a storm fading or similar. When you close the balcony doors you can mainly hear only the fridge engine sound. And also, there are no flights from around midnight till around 7 i the morning. The apartment is in Kremasti, which is around 20-25mins drive from Rhodes or Faliraki. We rented a car: Stratos rentacar - local rentacar, I can recommend them also. No credit card and deposits and other insurrance nonsenses. I rented a Peugeot 107 for 196eur for 7 days. Paid 30eur upfornt for reservation and the rest when the car was delivered to me. Cheap and simple. I was able to park the car in front of our building. It is a calm street with lots of cats (if you like them). Anyway, we usually went to Faliraki beach, Tsambika or the Khallitea springs for swimming. All of them are in a reasonable distance max 25-30mins of easy road. You can do it even faster since it seems that the greeks do not respect to much the traffic limitations :D they drive easily 80km/h where 50 is allowed.

The beds can be a little softer :) maybe a layer of memory foam would be a nice addition.

Great value. Quiet location with nice balcony and hill views. Friendly and non intrusive staff. All the beautiful cats and kittens that play nearby were a bonus.

The house is very nice and the host always available. There is a washing machine and the house is very fresh (almost no need of air con in august with 35 degrees!). The place is quiet and close to the beach, the city and all comforts
