This property truly had everything one could ask for when visiting Lake Tahoe. The spacious house, the solitude feeling, the nature filled backyard, and the selection of amenities truly made this feel like a First Class visit. Luckily, we didn’t encounter any bears, but we did notice a coyote late at night! 10/10 would recommend for a group. I want to go back!

The property was just as advertised. There was plenty of space for 8 adults and 5 kids. There was peace and quiet on the property. It was a 10-15 minute drive to the heart of S. Lake Tahoe. The kitchen was spacious and all of us could work around the center island. Going in we knew there was no air conditioner. Maybe there could be more portable fans available because it was warm during the day. I highly recommend.

This a very nice house. I could leave it at that, but there are some caveats. The housekeeping crew needs to do a better job of cleaning out cobwebs. They are EVERYWHERE and it’s a little gross. Also, the house does not have air conditioning. Although it states that “it’s a mountain climate and AC is not needed”, that’s BS. The window screens are torn so we couldn’t open windows at night for fresh air. Also, there are no screens on the sliding doors so we couldn’t even leave doors open for air because of the bugs. It’s August…and it’s HOT! Huge miss.
The property is old and needs updating, but the house does the job. The appliances work as they should. The indoor pool is a nice addition and the movie room is decent. For what you pay, you should expect more updates.

Yes, the house is older but it’s very clean. All the amenities are in working order (pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub). The kitchen is well equipped with all the gadgets you can think of, even rice cooker! The house is in a quiet neighborhood with walking trails at the end of the street. Grocery stores are 10 mins drive for any last minute needs. Thank you for sharing your place.

Our stay at the propert was amazing! We were a totally of 14 people and the place accommodated everyone well. Everyone loved the indoor pool and theatre. The kitchen was also really well stocked with everything we needed to cook and feel at home. Will definitely be coming back!

Everyone loved the facilities and the wilderness area behind the cabin. As well as access to the lake, trails and town. There was something for everyone; pool table, swimming pool, sauna, jaquzie, tv’s and movie room.. we are looking forward to next year.

The house is great for large families. The pool and sauna were great!! The Screen in the theater room did not work but after we called, they sent a tech out and fixed it. Communication with the property manager was awesome. She got back to us right away. The washing machine did not work but we found out on our last night (they were going to call the handyman but we were leaving and said it was not a problem but they should know). Overall the place was good for our family get together.

The home has a ton of potential to be amazing but was missing on a lot of basic things that made the stay less than ideal. Understandably, we were there during a heat wave and the house doesn’t have air conditioning but lots of the air vents don’t blow air while trying to cool the house down and some of the bedroom window screens were damaged and the sliding glass doors don’t have screens so we couldn’t open the windows or doors without letting in bugs so it was uncomfortably hot at night. The theater is cool but there’s only cable box and a dvd player but no dvds. There’s a place to plug in your own device to stream your own movies but wasn’t advised to bring our own device ahead of time. The stove burners were unstable and difficult to cook on. There weren’t any extra linens. One of the toilets was barely functional, they did send someone out to get it useable but was told by the repair man that the toilet needed to be removed to properly repair it. But couldn’t work around the activities we had already scheduled and paid for on our vacation. The pool, sauna, and steam room were awesome and enjoyed by us all. Again the home would be incredible with some attention to detail but our experience was unfortunately less than ideal.

We booked this home for the wedding party for our best friends’ wedding this past weekend. It is a lovely home tucked in the woods about a 15 minute drive from Lake Tahoe. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious enough for our group of 13 to all sleep and gather comfortably. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna!
It is worth noting that they take the 10pm noise cutoff very seriously, and there are several postings stating that if there is a noise complaint you will have 2 hours to vacate the property. I assume they have had some issues with loud groups upsetting neighbors in the past. If you’re looking for a party pad, this may not be the right rental for you, but I would highly recommend it for any gathering where you can keep the noise down after 10, or at least keep it inside!

We loved all the amenities from the spa on the very private deck to the pool and sauna and the theater room was a hit too. Watched a UFC fight and everyone had a good comfortable seat. Kitchen nicely set up and Nice pots and pans. Great home. Thank you for sharing.

We are a group of seven brothers and sisters with wives and husbands, from San Antonio, TX, Las Vegas , NV, San Diego and San Francisco, CA.
Finding the place is easy. Right off the bat, we are all impressed of the house itself and its amenities. The pool area is a gem. The great room is excellent for everyone to be in one place.
There is one thing that the management should have given a warning to guests and that is that bears roam the property and surrounding areas. My sister's rental car was trashed by a bear. It went inside the car and ate whatever it found and did a number on the upholstery. To be fair, it was my SISTER'S FAULT as she accidentally left a passenger window open that attracted the bear to get into the car. A neighbor came by that afternoon and warned us about bears breaking in unbeknownst to him of what happened to us. So, give the guests a friendly reminder that bears may break in to cars. That said, all is well. My sister accepted that it was her fault (a costly one).
Some of us have been to Tahoe before and multiple times but many of them have never been. Tahoe is always amazing however many times you've been. The place offered my group a chance to be together and enjoy a place full of outstanding amenities from the pool area and jacuzzi, the theater room, the great hall, the kitchen and all the rooms that comfortably situated everyone. We had a wonderful stay with our extended family for 4 nights! The kids loved the pool and the movie theater room and the adults appreciated the sauna, hot tub and well stocked kitchen. We typically cook all our meals on these big family trips and the house has every kitchen item we needed. Plenty of mixing bowls, 9x13 pans, muffin pans, coffee makers and hot water kettles for tea. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well on our trip. The house is secluded and tucked away and we felt like we had our own bit of private forest right behind the house. We also found a beautiful walking trail just at the end of the street. It is also a very close drive to the lake and the rest of the main town area of South Lake Tahoe. We had a great time!

The place is located in a more secluded part of Tahoe. The inside is spacious. However the sink faucet dripping water, the pillow was dirty with old pillowcases that had stain. The pool water was murky and mold on the ceiling. The theatre room was very disappointing because the area is an extra room with faux leather seats squeezed together. Found hair on a bathroom rug. The pool table sticks blue tip gone. Had issue with the washer and dryer.
The home had kitchen items such as plates, cups, pots, pans etc. it also had. Bbq grilled and jacuzzi. The master bathroom cleaned and nice. It had a tv, sofa, tables and chairs.

Fantastic location. Great space for families with toddlers. Communication was crisp from beginning to end. Kids loved the hot tub and the pool. Wide open kitchen/dining space is perfect for social meals. My only qualm is that the furniture, carpets, etc, especially in the bedrooms are beyond antiquated. Of course, if there are families with kids, they don’t have to have to worry about damaging anything. With that being said, price was more than I’d like to pay for what is offered.

My group and I had an amazing time staying at this property. The private acre added to our comfort and privacy, and really immersed us in the forest atmosphere. There were so many amenities that we all used extensively. The private indoor pool was a dream, as well as the hot tub. There was plenty of rooms and spaces for our guests to enjoy their own personal space. The theater room was very comfortable and allowed us to enjoy several movies during our stay. We were also close to town which made grocery shopping easy and convenient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property and may come again in the future!

13 of us stayed at Jicarilla Drive, and had a fantastic time. The house is huge with fantastic amenities, a great kitchen, loads of clean bedrooms and bathrooms, and it's not right next to neighbours so, while we were careful with late night noise, we were treading on eggshells too much. Great location, 10 minutes from the town, and plenty of Ubers available. The host responded very quickly to any queries. Absolutely recommend.

The property was as described and was perfect for our surprise get together for my husbands 75th birthday with family that he has not seen for years. We enjoyed cooking and visiting and playing card games when we weren't making use of the home theatre or pool table for entertainment. We've been living in South Shore going on 15 years, but there are not have enough bedrooms and bathrooms in my home to accommodate the 12 other family members all under the same roof, which is why I searched and found this home. When you only have a couple of days to spend with loved ones that you haven't seen in years a large home made so much more sense than trying to coordinate plans from hotel rooms .
The communication with the host was easy and effortless when needed. Unfortunately the massive snow load did a number on the hot tub cover preventing us from being able to use the hot tub, but I totally understand because I live up here in Tahoe and have been dealing with issues stemming with this years record breaking snow levels my self at my home. I appreciated being contacted before we checked in with a sincere apology & explanation of why we would not be able to use that feature of the home, rather than being left to discover the issue myself upon arrival.
Everyone had a really nice time and I would highly recommend this property if you are having a family reunion or group of friends gathering and want to be able to spend time enjoying each others company, yet also have enough individual space when & if you need it.

The location and back sledding area was great. Kids enjoyed indoor pool and theatre but carpets really need to be replaced. New bed covers, fresh coat of paint, and updated furniture will make this place perfect. Also fixing the leak in master bedroom. We had a leak in the ceiling right on top of the bed where it got our pillows and blankets wet, we had to go sleep in sofas and although it happened in the last night of our stay we really didn’t get good rest because sofas are uncomfortable. I messaged management to get some kind of credit for inconvenience and haven’t received a response
