The staff at Kalimba are very welcoming and kind. Beautifully landscaped, excellent pool area, an oasis in the perfect location of town. Very clean. We enjoyed having our own small villa and will come back again.

your in town but secluded and safe. across the street is beautiful beach good for swimming and surfing. there is a supermarket next to the property.The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need. The staff was the most gracious, friendly and helpful we have ever encountered in the 20+ years we have been traveling to Costa Rica.

All the staff were excellent. So friendly and anticipated your every need. Diego especially was fantastic. Loved the grounds, location, pool. Great food at the restaurant. Excellent location.

Location, pool and the villa. The villa is located really close to the beach, the pool is super nice with the bar :) the villas have everything what you need.

Everything. Stayed at seven places on our Costa Rica trip. Villas Kalimba was the best. Diego is the hardest working, best manager I have ever met, anywhere, period!!!

This was an amazing place to stay! Ideal location, charming villas, gorgeous pool, and incredibly kind & helpful staff. All in all a fantastic place!

The room cleaning did not turn over the entire room, and the hot tub was permanently off.

the staff is super friendly and the location is excellent. 2min away from the beach and close to everything you need (restaurants bars supermarkets..) we loved staying in Samara so much and ended up extending our stay by one day

located among the villas, a new restaurant just opened which served excellent food. however our villa was just located just next to the restaurant and it would become a bit noisy in the evening due to the guests (drinking and talking loud). the restaurant closes around bedtime so it would not be too bad.

Samara is a gem on the Costa Rican Pacific coast. One of our favourite towns and beaches in Guanacaste. Villas Kalimba is one of the nicer places to stay in this town. I would not hesitate to stay here again on a return trip. The staff is great

if you are lucky to get 1 of this 6 villas this property has, you are in for a treat. This place is a magical place. 5 star service.

Everything was lovely - the spacious villa, the well-kept garden, the beautiful pool... The location is perfect! It’s close to everything, but it remains calm and private. We were very impressed by how kind and generous the staff was. Reception, bartender, housekeeper - they all exceeded our expectations. We were able to check in earlier and encouraged to enjoy the pool even after check out. Would have loved to stay longer if the villas weren’t fully booked :)

Nothing major! One of the bathroom doors didn’t shut properly. The lock was a little difficult to use.

We loved everything here! The staff is super lovely and friendly and the villas are just awesome! We had our own home with kitchen, two bedrooms & two bathrooms, a little garden and the pool in front of the door! Furthermore the beach is just across the street! We will come back as soon as possible.

The place is super clean. Diego was amazingly helpful. Right from reaching out to confirm my arrival time, to helping us get our flat tire fixed. He was exceptional. The villas is only 20 meters walk from the beach. Just walk across the road! There is a super market a few doors down that is super convenient and everything in the town is within walking distance. Nice pool area. Villa was spacious and very clean. Overall great value.

The only reason I didn't give a 10 is because the restaurant and sauna are under construction. When this is done in Dec, 2021, it will be a solid 10. If the construction started at 9 am rather than 7, I would have given it a 10 anyway.

This property is a great value! The rooms were kept extremely clean. The location is convenient to anything you need in town. The staff are amazing! Diego and Carolina are the best!!!

Diego and Carolina were EXCEPTIONAL! They both were so friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable as well as help with accommodations like transportation to and from the airport and arrange an on-site COVID test so I could return to the States without any stress or concern.
