It was a 5 star B&B. The room was excellent with a walk in wardrobe and fridge. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet, so I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The full english breakfast which was included in the price again was exellent. Also there was a kitchen facility for guests to cook a meal. Natalie and Ray were very friendly and even offered us lifts into Henley. I would definitlely stay there again when I am in the area.

Realised after a while we could have done with a chair in the bedroom. Bath would have been nice.

Breakfast beautifully cooked and presented and served in a lovely quaint dining room in owners home. Sleeping accommodation beautifully presented and comfortable. Location only a few minutes drive from Henley itself but very peaceful and a great setting.

Every aspect of our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived. Made to feel so welcome by Natalie and Ray who could not do enough for us during our time there. Ray dropped us into Henley on the first evening and offered advice on where to eat and drink. Natalie drove us to a local vineyard we booked for our 25th Wedding Anniversary on the second day. She picked us up and again dropped us into Henley for the evening. Going the extra mile for their guests is exceptional and makes your stay at Handywater Cottages even more pleasurable. A picturesque courtyard with outstanding views from the patio area, a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass of two of wine. You choose breakfast the day before and it is well worth the wait, cooked with fresh ingredients to perfection by Natalie. Plenty of other options available too from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast with homemade butter and marmalade/jam. The accommodation was perfect for our stay, exceptionally clean, tidy and finished to a high standard. There is a seperate kitchen area with fresh milk left in the fridge where you are able to leave water or soft drinks, or wine if you prefer. Only downside was having to come home, could easily have stayed a further 1 or 2 nights. Highly recommend a stay at Handywater Cottages, be it for business or pleasure. Thankyou Natalie and Ray, we will definitely return.x

Everything about the property and the owners was first class. In many years of travelling, this was the first time I have awarded 10/10. Attention to detail was superb, with very high quality bedding, towels and furnishings. A beautiful location with a picturesque garden and many extras.

The accommodation was excellent, very clean and felt like home from home. Excellent facilities not only within the room but also we had access to a kitchen and reading area. Excellent bed ensured good night sleep and excellent breakfast at a time suitable for us. Hosts very friendly throughout the stay.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The breakfast was exceptional, well presented, and delicious. Hosts very attentive, liked Richards sense of humour, he's very funny. My partner loves animals, so she loved the cats' chickens and fish. Great place to stay, will stay again, and would highly recommend it.

Temperature of the shower could have been slightly warmer, my fiancee likes it piping hot
