The pool and breakfast were good.
The cleaning products on sheets and towels were so scented I couldn’t stay there as I could not sleep and got sick due to the smell and lack of sleep and they would not issue me a refund. The shower leaked and the room was noisy due to the adjoining door. Also it was cold in the room and the thermostat would not adjust.

convenient to marina
8.0 / 10.0
The location was good for the boat marina but a very long walk into town center. The breakfast was mainly Mexican dishes but they did have cereal, toast and eggs as an option. The hotel hotel did have a very good restaurant and bar with good food.
The pool and hot tub was under construction on our stay and it was very noisy and dusty from 8am to 6pm.
5.0 / 10.0
The restaurant had good food and large portions.
Cleaning staff were great. HUGE ROOMS.
The place was a building site and since rooms need refurbishment, will stay that way for a while.
Reception staff did not respond to complaint.
MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE FOR QUALITY PROVIDED.

Nice view of marina. Good location for exploring town, Malecón and beaches. Good restaurant and friendly staff throughout the property. Good food in the restaurant. Staff was helpful when so many things in room weren’t working properly.
No Heat! Cold winter night at 10 pm maintenance tried to work on heater. Then we were told the room has no heat! Wasted our first 3 hours getting repairs to room and floor needed cleaning. Deadbolt on front door never locked. Safe was inoperable. Handle and lock to patio was broken. Patio was dirty. The bar had an obscene odor. Sitting outdoors didn’t help. Weakest shower ever!

Friendly staff, nice hotel and location to the Marina. Excellent generous breakfast and good vibe at Pirates bar.

it was located in a convenient location
everything. the bathroom shower didn’t drain well. the sink was too far from faucet, which meant to bathroom area was constantly wet. the hot tub had so much chlorine that I had the smell for more than 12 hours. it was horrible

View, cleaning and restaurant staff, view and breakfast.
I have yet to be reimbursed for sending for exchanging a noisy room without a view to a cheaper room with a view. The staff assured me that I would hear back from them regarding a refund for one night, which I agreed to. I have yet to hear back from the hotel despite spendingDays talking with the staff and supervisor about getting a refund that amounted to around $300. A supervisor told me to return to the office to confirm that I would get the one night’s refund but when I followed up over and over for the next three days. The last I heard from the staff was that I would get an email and the refund but they needed extra information that they would not take in person. Very disturbing customer service policy despite the excellence of the cleaning and restaurant staff. I regret I will not return to the marina hotel.

Good location to the Malacon and Palmira Marina. View from room of marina was nice. On site restaurant was ok for price.
It may have just been just our room, but wasn’t impressed with the dust filled vents, open circuit panel in bathroom or novice like ceiling repairs to name a few. Mostly though, room was clean enough to not say ick!

I didn’t stay the extra night as I had spent the 2 previous evenings there and had had enough. cockroaches and no A/C after I had informed the property the previous of these problems. They did not react in any comments.

location was good
Upon arriving was informed that the hotel would not have any electricity from 5pm to midnight that evening. I think the hotel and booking.com should inform guests about an inconvenience like this in advance, I asked if they were offering a discount and was offered a poolside cocktail for my inconvenience, really. I tried to contact booking to cancel my reservation, but of course, booking does not have a direct hot line with actual people to answer these inquiries. I had to turn on my cellular service at $15/day to try and cancel. Of course I couldn’t get through to anyone. The hotel went “dead ship” at exactly 5 pm and didn’t return to normal till 2 am the next day. No safety precautions were taken as the property had no safety lighting or back up power. People were stumbling around, diesel fumes from the generator( to run the elevator) wafted through the air, along with mosquitos as you had to open sliding doors and windows to try and keep the room comfortable.
Breakfast was horrible and not included ($300 pesos)
Pool was dirty and lounge chair cushions stained and frayed. I had booked 3 nights and didn’t stay the 3rd night as A/C didn’t work. Cockroaches found on my return visit from breakfast.

The hotels location is at the Palmira Marina and a great breakfast was included in our room rate. The hotel is in a quieter part of town and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The beds were only full size, not queen size, which resulted in our family needing three rooms instead of two. The small elevator worked intermittently and the staff kept it busy when it was working. The water pressure was low making showers difficult. There is often a bad smell in the outdoor area.

I liked the view of the marina.
I didn’t like that the water tasted salty to shower and brush your teeth.

. The beds are ok
The photos dont match with the reality. No water in the room, AC without battery, outsides areas dirty. The elevator sorry and very old. Bad experience

Most of the staff at the lobby was OK, except for one rude lady who made me go downstairs for the towels and sheets they forgot to provide everyday.
I hated pretty much everything from this place. There is no way they can claim to have 4 stars. Outdated and smelly rooms with thin walls. The water in the premises is salty so prepare to take showers with sea water. No towels, I had to ask for them everyday at the lobby only to receive two small old shredded cloths. I asked for a cradle for my baby and the mattress was dirty and no they had no sheets for it! Noisy as hell and the breakfast included was greasy and cheap.
