Stunning location, wonderful family. Best coffee I've had in Nepal.

The owners were very friendly. It was like staying at your best friends house. We were part of the family. We were shown the vegetable garden and coffee bushes and it was a delight to drink the coffee and eat the vegetables in the wonderful home cooked meals. Himalayan views from the rooms and terrace were stunning. Onward travel was organised. What a gem of a place!

What a beautiful property and location. Begnas coffee house was the first guest house in the area and their experience shows. We were lucky enough to have the room on the top floor with a beautiful communal terrace looking over the view and the mountains. The family who run the house are absolutely wonderful, so helpful, funny and friendly. They also are doing a lot for the community through a guest house committee which was wonderful to hear about. There are some beautiful walks around the property as well through the villages and hills. The food was GREAT! So many options (not just Nepalese food if you need a break from daal bhat) and it’s all homemade. hot water shower as well. But most importantly..... the COFFEE! Absolutely divine. And grown and roasted on site. Highly recommended this piece of paradise.

i asked for cancellation after 3 nights because there was a huge noisy construction going on in the neighborhood. the cancellation was done by the host without discussion, that was nice.

Great fresh coffee (mocha) brewed from their home roasted and grown coffee. Lovely view from every level of the house, nice large terrace on top. Quiet and peaceful. Clean shared bathroom (western toilet) and shower. Friendly family.

Rather hard mattress, no WIFI reception in the lower rooms at all, and access to WIFI is shut down around 9/10pm. I think they turn it off overnight - and either way you must leave the upper common area where you actually have reception because they lock that area and the gate, and if you stay in the lower rooms, there's no other way to get to the rest of the guest house (not helpful when trying to be in contact with people in a different time zone).
