House was clean and well maintained. Beautiful and quite location close to a cul-de-sac so no thru traffic. Pool was great, also very private and backing on to a golf course! Everything about this house was perfect

While we understand cleaning staff is in short supply and its a rush to get one party out and another in, the overall cleaning job was a bit unsatisfactory. I would have much rather checked in the following morning, than to have stayed at the house in the condition it was in. The stall shower, while recently remodeled, was moldy (enough mold to just prove no cleaning had been done), the floor hadn't been cleaned in the bathroom(had to use a towel to clean up water that leaked out form under the shower door and it came up VERY brown and that was the first day we were there), there was a clump of hair in the fridge, not dog hair but long brown human hair (Makes me wonder if the same rag used to clean the bathroom was also used to wipe down the fridge) we did not use the grills (there were big chunks of food stuck to them), the morning we were leaving I found old coffee in the coffee pot (which we did not use). I understand these things are not at the fault of the owner and being someone who helps my mother in law clean our Air BnB properties I just expected more. The location was okay, it stated you could walk to the beach, you can, but its not as short of a distance as it states in the listing, the walk one way is 1.7 miles. that's a bit of a hike when you are pregnant and have a 2 year old in tow. The pool, while an awesome amenity, is mostly shaded for a large portion of the day, so the water temp was too cold (we also understand we came towards the end of the pool season, but even temps reaching the mid 90's it never warmed up). I do not like to leave negative reviews and I am really not trying to nit pick little things, but it just seemed as though the "enhanced cleaning procedures" weren't really followed? I sure hope we just happened to hit this location at the wrong time when things were a bit more rushed them usual.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Green House. The great room is very spacious. It was nice that bedrooms and baths were on separate ends of the house for more privacy. All of the trees around the back pool area make it a very peaceful setting. We sure would love to return.

We usually rent homes walking distance to the ocean, but decided this year with COVID, staying closer to the house was a better option. So, we chose this house for its pool. The outdoor space is awesome. The pool is isolated off from the neighbors to make it our own little oasis. It has lights that kept the pool well lit for evening swimming with the kids. The interior is very dated. Think Brady Bunch at the beach with Cooper and orange beach decor. The mattresses sleep horrible. If the owners would invest in a bed in a box memory mattresses that can be placed on top of the existing boxsprings - it would help tremendously. As it was, we were all waking up moaning and groaning every morning with back aches. Otherwise, this is a good option. The washer and dryer is in the garage. We had to carry our wash through the front door to access the washer. There is a very narrow, twisting staircase but except for the kids - none of us felt safe maneuvering them esp. with your arms full of clothing!

The house was clean overall! The pool was a bit chilly. No heater available (even though it's Summer) would have been nice if the pool was in the sun for most of the day or even some of the day to heat it up. It only gets sun in the morning and thats it. Too many tree branches blocking sun. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. It was a great trip with plenty to do even during the Covid nightmare! We did jet skiing, (first timers and it was awesome and scary for me anyway LOL).. dolphin tour was AMAZING at OBX Marina, we ate at several restaurants that were all pretty great with Henry's breakfast being our favorite!! We shopped at several small business shops to help support the owners during this time and they were all so friendly!! We did practice social distancing and mask wearing at every single place we went!! Would stay here again

Other than the beds great property had a blast

This was our fifth consecutive annual OBX trip and each year we've been trying to stay in different parts of the islands. This was also our first time taking our dog with us. The house was perfect for our needs and we particularly liked having a private pool. We plan to stay in this home again next year if we can.

this was the perfect house for our needs.everything furnished and located in a location with privacy but within 5 minutes to beach activities and resturants and shopping.We loved the pool and the screened in porch overlooking the pool.The 2 car garage was a bonus also. we recommend this house to families with kids...did I mention it is pet friendly? we loved it!!
