Very good

Hotel located in the center of the village, 50 m from the lake, walking distance from the Salmon river. Large room, we had view on the lake (with roofs in between us and the lake). Reception was closed (sunday) but I called the telephone number written on the reception's door, the lady answered immediately, the key was available in a safe box, no problem. The day after, reception lady was there, very kind and helpful, she is alone to run the hotel, so quite a busy task, but she was fantastic. Breakfast was varied and good, on a self-service basis. Parking right in front of the hotel, so convenient ! Reasonably priced.

The hotel has a 70s feel, bathroom was old-fashioned (but functional) with shower curtain (like almost everywhere in Norway), so overall, in need of a upgrade, but it definitively has a style... The village is quite small, so limited food and entertainment options, specially on a sunday evening, although mid-august...

The hotel has a great location, the view from the room is spectacular. The room was really huge, very clean and with heated floor in the bathroom. The breakfast was pre-made, but you can find everything you need there: from musli to yogurt etc. Free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel also has a nice common living room with children corner and billiard.

Quite simple hotel but had everything we needed. Nice little self-serve breakfast room which exceeded our expectations. Lots of things to choose from.

Unfortunately, some of the bread provided in the breakfast room was moldy.

The lady who run the hotel was very kind and helpful.

very nice staff, super clean and comfortable beds. Calm place and breakfast included !

Lovely room, has underfloor heating in the shower. Room overlooking the lake. The dining room is open all the time. Good breakfast. There is a supermarket nearby. Quiet room with double door. And the hostess was lovely! Thank you very much, highly recommend.

An incredible view

So we stayed at this hotel before the start of the tourist season and a couple of months after Norway opened up from COVID, so hard to know if our experience would be typical. This is a decent hotel in a small town. We arrived after hours (~6:30 PM) and had to call to get checked in, receptionist was there in a few minutes. Breakfast was all pre made in a refrigerated display case and was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value.

Nice location almost directly on the waterfront. Great, self-service breakfast available, I had breakfast at 06:00 and was able to make an early start on my travels.

Nice location in a sleepy little seaside town. Room was very large. Free parking out the front. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of options (but no hot food due to covid).

Shower didn't drain properly, as there was a blockage somewhere in the plumbing. When we used the sink, the water came up into the shower. Room was also very cold, so we had to switch on the heater for a while. The room door deadlock didn't work, so we could not properly secure the door overnight.
