€20 each way to get from Zubiri to the property and back. You need to factor in an additional €40 to the price.

It is 6 km from Zubiri, and finding a cab was impossible on a holiday weekend. I had to ask a local for a ride.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. The building is a wonderful old character property with fabulous oak beams in the most spectacular setting in Eugi. The staff are lovely and friendly. The beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean.

The setting was beautiful.

We were on the Camino Frances and couldn't get accommodation in Zubiri. There were no buses or taxis able to take us to or from Eugi. We walked. The location is 7km off the Camino. It was difficult to communicate with the staff who only spoke Spanish. The wifi wasn't working. The accomodation is above the bar - there is no sound proofing so the locals in the bar until the early hours and the church bells could be heard throughout the night.

Hostal Etxeberri was a hotel adjacent to a lovely lake in a small Basque village an easy drive from Zubiri. Though a cab drive from the larger town on the Camino de Santiago, it was a suitable alternative. The staff couldn’t be kinder nor more helpful in every regard.

We stayed in the lodging during a local fiesta, and the staff had warned us via email prior to our stay of this fact. We were treated to a memorable, albeit sleepless experience. That said, the staff managed to be attentive, arranged early departure cab service, all with a smile while extremely busy.

The location is gorgeous. Right on a lake with mountains as a backdrop. You couldn’t pick a more beautiful spot. The breakfast was lovely except for the Spanish toast which nearly broke my teeth

No air con because it was over 30 degrees even in the evening.

The owner Maggie was so welcoming and helpful and room was comfortable and bright. Our dinner was good and all the staff were friendly. The location is beautiful looking over the lake. We were walking the Camino de Santiago and Maggie went out of her way to help us on our way next day

nothing not to like…but remember to arrange a taxi to bring you from Zubiri if you are walking the Camino

The view, food and quiet place

Everything was perfect. The only point to be worried was that we arrived in a middle of owner change and that cause some confusion but the owner solve immediately the confusion and trate us as family. we appreciate it enormously.

It’s far from Zuribi! I’d arrange transportation both ways next time!

There was nothing to like - worst Hotel we stayed in during the Camino.

The hotel was empty and we were sharing a twin room which was tiny. They could have put us in a better room which was located next to the church. The church clock bell went every 15 minutes. We had to get a taxi to the Hotel which with only 1 taxi for the area meant we waited 4 hours for a collection. Poor service and one of the worst hotels throughout out 6 weeks in Spain. No breakfast available.

10 minutes drive from Zubiri and you’re in a beautiful small village by the lake. All you need for a perfect relaxation after hiking the Camino De Santiago. If u wanna go back to the Camino early morning try to catch a ride/ wait for the bus everyday at 09:30.
