Location was quiet and close to food stores. Super close to Devon House. About 5 minutes walk. Not very far from the Bob Marley Museum, which I enjoyed visiting. The apartment was clean and kept well. The Host was friendly and helpful.

Bed could be more comfortable. Towels could use some fabric softner.

Location close to Devon House, close to Banks in New Kingston and Waterloo Road for Starbucks, supermarket and pharmacy ( cheaper than Devon House coffee/tea rooms). I felt safe as a western woman in these vicinities. The host Sheldon is attentive and very professional

The property grounds kept clean. Security electronic gate, and main entrance/exit grilled door comes with access card (was a treat). The security guards are also on top of the game, always eager to help and very friendly. The Apt/Studio Condo Unit is very modern with IKEA style decor vibe. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The A/C modern energy efficient unit at 23c is a comfortable temperature 24/7 for summer and winter months. Modern Kitchen refrigerator different styles and models for each Unit. Large Microwave Oven above electric stove/oven. Coffee maker and electronic water kettle. The washer/dryer (stacked or side-by-side or combo) is modern energy efficient appliances with special instructions to operate. Unit 9 had S.B.S W/D with owners manuals. Unit 1 has a Comb W/D with no owners manual. I searched on the web for a pdf version but could not find.

My second stay. I have been in Unit 9 and now Unit 1. Unfortunately both did not have a toaster oven or toaster. On the up side Starbucks is just around the corner from you in three different directions for your sweet tooth in pastry’s!

no toaster or toaster oven. no bottle, or wine opener. no regular ice trays. only 2 mini ice maker trays from freezer. no glass door in shower. permanent shower glass leaks at base causing poodles on bathroom tile flooring.

Location doesn’t provide meals,however,I was able to make my own meals if I needed to.

This was my second stay at this location in a few Months apart. I really don’t have any complaints

The host was friendly and shared lots of information from the neighborhood and Kingston in general. He helped me settle and was very kind. The room is quiet, spacey (for 1 person), with linen in pristine conditions, all very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge and all the kitchenware you need to cook, the bathroom is comfy and very clean. All is well painted and in good condition. The flat is very close to Devon House (like half a block, totally walkable), which is a museum, but hosts an amazing ice cream parlor (I Scream), bakeries, restaurants and souvenir shops in green surroundings. I spent a weekend (and a national holiday there), and you can just hop to Devon House anytime, internet is quite speedy, I took a couple of videoconferences there. It is located in New Kingston, close to Embassies, Bob Marley Museum, the business and governmental sectors, shopping malls and entertainment.

10 stars overall experience for us from arrival until checkout a spirit of excellence for 11 days. Thanks so much

I didn't like paying a service fee to use my credit card

The shower didn't have a hand held shower fixtures.

Room as advertised, short stay of two nights, nice welcome basket, access to personal washer and dryer (no tokens). Like that it's near shops, restaurants and near airport.

After staying in a studio, my preference would be a 1 bedroom accommodation if I had a choice.

Relaxing, safe and clean

No balcony. This would have added to the experience but was not greatly missed.

I recently moved to Jamaica for my work and staying at the Eight Super Studio Apartments was the perfect choice. From the moment I arrived the staff were friendly and professional and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I enjoyed the unique location close to services and restaurants as well as steps away from leading heritage sites. I also had an opportunity to extend my stay and both rooms I occupied were spacious, comfortable and clean. The reality is that things never go as you plan when you move to a new country. The friendliness and attentiveness of both Sheldon and Dianne helped me along the way from offering exceptional realtor services to making sure I knew what services were available during the lock downs. They will go the extra mile to accommodate any requests. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kingston.

The apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Sheldon, the host, was amazing as the other reviewers have expressed. The location was great. I felt very safe. Just like a home away from home. There is AC and hot water with good water pressure. Great WiFi signal as well. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, utensils and pans along with some appliances like hot water kettle and blender. There’s also a washer and dryer in the apartment. Bed is comfortable with 4 pillows.

There’s almost nothing not to like at this apartment. I would totally live here! Just very, very minor things like I could have used a large bowl when cooking and at night it’s a little bright from the lights outside. Again, these are very minor things and would not prevent me from staying here again.

The host was warm and accessible. Thought was put into creating a home away from home.
