La ubicación estaba cerca del centro pero no en el barullo. La posibilidad de cenar en la habitación hasta más tarde que en el restaurante. La amabilidad del personal. En el desayuno te preparaban el café al instante y los huevos revueltos o la tortilla.

No se cambian las toallas húmedas todos los días, algo que no me importaría si no fuera porque estaban mojadas.

The room was upgraded as a bonus, we got interconnecting rooms without having to mention it. They catered well for vegetarians.

The rooms are slightly outdated, they do not have USB sockets in the rooms. The rooms need a brush of paint and some peeling of paint needs to be attended to.

- personeel sprak gebrekkig Engels. - housekeeping nam handdoeken mee en liet geen nieuwe achter (hier moesten we zelf achteraan). - erg gehorig: konden van alles meegenieten wat naast en boven ons gebeurden. - ontbijtzaal te klein voor het aantal gasten, waardoor je moet wachten tot er plek is. - incheckproces: balie is erg klein, dus dan wordt je maar ergens anders op een random plek in de hal geholpen. - laundry service: kwamen niet op de afgesproken tijd. Hier moesten we ook zelf achterna en vervolgens willen ze ons ook nog veel te veel hiervoor laten betalen. Uiteindelijk hoefde dit niet, maar dit toont wel aan hoe het personeel verschillende dingen communiceren naar hun gasten. - kamer met direct pool access was niet direct aan het zwembad, je moet nog steeds een stukje eromheen lopen. Kortom: wij hadden veel meer verwacht van een 5-sterren hotel. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is volgens ons niet juist. We hebben op Bali in andere hotels gezeten voor veel minder geld en daar hadden we wel een uitstekende service.

The property was central to the locations we sought to visit. The breakfast was good. The staff were kind and sweet.

It presents as a five star hotel but it is not. The worst of our experience was the strong smell of mould in our room. We could not bare the smell and had keep our balcony open constantly. Saw someone else complained about the same issue to confirm our concerns. They said they relocated to numerous rooms and the smell carried through them all so we did not bother requesting a new room. We observed the outside of the hotel from the pool area and it looks like the walls have been impacted by water leakage and roof leakage. The staff themselves at this hotel are kind and it makes me sad because I don’t want to complain as they were very sweet and tried hard to make this stay nice, but where the lack comes is from the owner. He believes that level 4 is bad fortune has removed a level 4 from the hotel, but I think his attention needs to be to the actual maintenance of the hotel, remove the mould properly, fix the broken speaker at the pool, hire more staff for goodness sakes it took us 1 hour to receive almost all room request deliveries, manager look at your fellow 5 star resorts and see where they do better eg Marriott, Ayana, W Building, Potato Head, etc. Don’t present like a 5 star hotel but be 3 stars. Your fellow 5 star resorts have level 4 and they are doing better. Also I know a thing about Feng Shui and broken, run down items and water leakages are not good fortune and also looks atrocious to your guests. I do not feel this stay was good value for money at all and I wish I looked at the reviews better than the flashy photos of the building online, I would have chosen somewhere better.

Nice staff. Good location. Away from the noisy part of Ubud, yet not long taxi type ride to center. Good breakfast with lots of choices from Indonesian to Indian to Western style. Our room was close to pool, so it was nice to walk to pool area and sit in lounge chairs and go swimming. Also had a nice spa and adequate gym. Gym was small but had treadmill and weights.

Our room had a very heavy musty smell upon arriving. Perhaps hadn't been used in a while. The staff came and cleaned it 1st day to try to help and we finally got a dehumidifier on second day. That definitely helped and it got better as the days passed. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was awful...and in the room itself, it could be better.

While I did come across some comments about typical tropical country issues like humidity, mosquitoes, and weather, I found them to be quite expected. What truly impressed me were the accurate pictures of the hotel—no outdated images with filters or angles that exaggerate space and beauty. The reality matched the expectations set by those pictures, and my experience was nothing short of great.😊

Well, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the hotel's Wi-Fi was like a snail on a leisurely stroll through molasses. 🐌🕸️ But hey, who needs fast internet when you've got paradise right outside your window? 😄🌴 Nah it was all fine !!!

very friendly and courteous staff. We are vegetarians and My daughter is lactose intolerant, the staff were able prepare special dish to cater to our needs. Special mention to Resti (evening shift) for providing us excellent service!

Staff is great. They have e scooters for rent which is convenient to cruise around ubud. Was a last minute option to stay here since our airbnb was not as advertised.

Beware, this place is absolutely infested with geckos, they are everywhere! Specially the hallways leading to the room at night u will come across 50 in one hallway, hallways have low ceiling which makes it more challenging to walk to rooms when they’re full of geckos above your head scattering once u walk. Luckily there was none in the room but we were extra careful. Food was not good.

Traffic is always between 12.00 to 17.00.

It was very clean and tidy, the breakfast buffet was completely sufficient. We couldn't use the laundry because the information is a bit confusing, but overall a great stay. Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs.

I've stayed in 3 hotel during this trip to Bali, and Element is definitely the one I liked best! It's spacious, all very clean, I got a huge room with amazing rainforest views. I love the pool and massage in the spa, breakfast is delicious with a lot of choice, and the restaurant serves diverse and delicious afternoon meals, too. If you get tired of this restaurantt, there're a couple other good options within walking distance. There're a lot of attractions within 20min ride from the hotel; some of them you can reach by the hotel's free shuttle. All in all, great value for money!

1) Airco in the room was too loud, and sleeping without airco was too warm, so I had to sleep with earmuffs (which I hate). 2) The bed was too soft for me. 3) Facial treatments weren't available at the hotel spa during my 4-day stay due to "lack of materials." A pity because I was really looking forward to it.

They should be more clear on their website about yoga classes and they also shouldn't say that they have a pillow menu. The pillows gave me the most terrible pain on my neck... I wish I had my own pillow

The gym is so poor in equipment, I was expecting a lot better being a 5 stars hotel. My husband got scam the first day we visit the restaurant and scan the qr for menu😒 Shower was not clean properly. People are lovely, breakfast could have more protein... buffet was probably 60% sweets and bread and I am more of a protein person

Our 3rd staying & always love the Zen atmosphere of Element Ubud, heavenly bed is always be on point! Andong Resto still the best!

1. We have stayed 3x times already since 2019 but it’s too bad our name is not on the repeater guests since we have always booked via booking.com but the reservation staffs cannot find our name. 2. A bit disappointed with a Cappuccino & black coffee this time, tasted absolutely horrible.. The Cappuccino tasted just like a water coffee. I remember they use to have a good Coffee machine at the breakfast area few years ago but not this time I think.

- please realise the hotel is not at walking distance from the centre. You need a scooter or taxi - for a 5* hotel you may expect fresh coffee for b’fast. Not out of a container

Soooo poorly designed . No flow . Corners everywhere in the room and when you open the cupboard you bang into the sink corners , tables too low , toilet and bed no flow from one to the other , I hd a cold room with airflow coming in from outside on the first night and slept in winter wear literalally. The second night was ants infestation but housekeeping managed to sort that out. So basically you cannot order room service and if you do clear the tray immediately and ask for a tray to be delivered with the food I felt hassled and discombobulated in this room - fumbling around to get ready every day

Facing the wrong way , no good Feng shui. Same with rooms for some reason , bad finishings , sink was at an angle and too low Food was average Basically I came back needing another holiday

Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly helping us to book taxi to Sanur harbour. Free shuttle to central Ubud. Breakfast buffet had donuts and a great choice of food. Pool bar drinks were strong and there was a happy hour :)
