Perfect location. Jingshan emperor garden is right across the street. It’s also a short walk to forbidden city and Beihai. We walked everywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also highly recommend the hotel restaurant. We had delicious meals there.

perfect location close to the centre. Nice decoration and style of old Chinese buildings. One could in a way say it is romantic. I think for Western People that is much more interesting than a standard Hotel Chain. It has more charm.

Well, it's a mix between good comfort Hotel and more homely private appartement. So for the price it is expensive compared to a standard 5 star Hotel Chain, but then you get the charm and the China atmosphere which compensates nicely.

Un posto veramente meraviglioso. Un angolo di tranquillità in pieno centro a Pechino, a pochi passi dalla città proibita. Camere spaziose e curate nei dettagli (arrivavo dal Giappone dove le micro camere sono un'abitudine), bagno enorme con una bellissima vasca. Le camere si affacciano su un bellissimo cortile interno, il ristorante di cui abbiamo ampiamente usufruito era ottimo: servizio impeccabile e porzioni decisamente abbondanti! La colazione viene fatta scegliere il giorno prima e i clienti possono scegliere tra un menù continentale, americano o cinese. Un'ultima considerazione va fatta sul personale: tutti gentilissimi e attenti, parlano un ottimo inglese. Noi l'ultima notte abbiamo fatto check out alle 21.30 perché avevamo un volo di rientro notturno e loro ci hanno regalato una teiera con due tazzine di ceramica e un porta incensi molto carini, sicuramente perché non usufruivamo a pieno del servizio dato che non avremmo dormito e fatto la colazione il mattino successivo. Davvero gentili... se dovessi tornare a Pechino per più giorni sarebbe sicuramente la mia prima scelta!

The beds were comfortable and it's environment is classic Chinese style. Hotel owner knows English and she is willing to help you.

It is quite noisy since the doors are wooden. Price is little bit high.

The location was perfect. The hutong was so quiet and it was easy to get share bikes for the four of us. We rode down to the Forbidden City - it was a lovely ride!

I liked the location. I absolutely love the fact that it's located inside of a hutong. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were soft and comfortable and the room was amazing. Definitely recommend if you want a quiet, relaxing weekend away from the main city area.

They only had orange juice and not other juices for people with allergies. They need a check list for the American breakfast, they forgot some of the breakfast items when serving it.

A lovely hotel near to many of Beijing’s best sights and a real flavour of China. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and comfortable beds.

Dinner was a little expensive.
