Another great visit to Arcachon and a lovely property. Thank you Brigitte

Brigitte's house is lovely and we had a fantastic holiday in Arcachon. Its location, right next to the beach, is ideal and we really appreciated having an outdoor shower. The local area is quiet, and perfect for us. I have 10 and 12-year-old boys, and they had a great time, as did we. They particularly loved being able to run to the beach and the daily walk to Patisserie Nes for croissants and baguettes. Our favourite restaurant this holiday, Bar de Soleil, is on the beach and we walked there together. (This is a bit further along the coast so some might prefer to drive!) The swimming and beaches nearby are lovely. Further afield we went to Parcours dans les Arbres at Biscarosse and Gujan-Mestras (for British guests, this is like Go Ape), and the aquaparc at Biscarosse Lac (a bit like Total Wipeout) - all were a big hit. We also went bodyboarding at Biscarosse Plage. This was fabulous, but the waves and currents can make it dangerous so it's best to stay in the life guarded area. The house is comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and we used the outdoor table a lot. Brigitte's lovely neighbour Agnes was very welcoming and helpful. If you go there with children I suggest you tell your children that the internet has a data limit. I forgot and they used up the allowance very quickly in downloading stuff! Once this was topped up and they stopped downloading it was fine. I highly recommend both this rental and Arcachon, and if you go I hope that you have as good a holiday as we did.
