This is our 4th time to stay at Beach Quest I believe. A group of 8-10 current and former co-workers take a trip each summer. This is by far our favorite house. Beach is mere steps from house and almost private. We rented a golf cart so us "older" ladies could get out on the beach. We had a blast!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute and clean home! They had all the necessary pots and pans for cooking meals & had both types of coffee makers. It was obvious they care about taking care of their home!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property! Perfect location and plenty of outdoor space! Loved having individual towels on our beds when we arrived. We will most definitely book this house again, soon!

It was a perfect place for a weekend getaway very clean and well kept

One of our best experiences in Port Bolivar. Steps to the gulf and seashells galore. We actually preferred this area over Chrystal Beach. Would definitely stay again.

The water pressure was a little low and the house swayed a bit in the wind.

We really enjoyed the house, it was clean and everything was provided. Great location also!

We were delighted with our stay. The house was well equipped and right on the beach. It felt private even on busy beach days with the holiday weekend. It's a great place for families or couples. You will want to bring shampoo and conditioner. We didnt find sugar, perhaps to avoid ants, but there were basic supplies and a good stock of utensils. There isnt a gas bbq, which I missed, bit not a big deal for a short stay. I highly recommend this beach house.

We had a great time, the house was just right! Easy access to the beach, enjoyed the deck and covered area for cooking and relaxing. The house was very clean and comfortable, we would stay there again. Thank you!

No smoke alarm where it was suppose to be in the main living /kitchen area. Feces on the ground by sewer tanks. Looked like the sewer was cleaned out and left on the ground. Our dog stepped in it. Very clean inside the home. Neat and tidy. Just a few steps to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

We were couples, two teens and a mid size pup (almost 9year old) who loves the lake but has never experienced the ocean. I went out to plan a very last Vacay to celebrate my hubs bday but had had to find an available place with specific needs: drivable from MO, not on a crowded tourist area, dog friendly rental and and dog friendly beach, and directly on the beach. I looked up and down the East coast, and the Alabama/Florida coastlines with no luck before I remembered TX has a coastline too. I am so thankful we found the Bolivar Peninsula, it met our every need perfectly! I wouldn’t have changed anything about this past week. The beach was was virtually ours alone and literally our front yard. Our super uncrowded beach was ideal for our pup to explore the ocean and for the rest of us to relax. We could leave our beach chairs and other stuff out there while we came in for lunch with no worries. The house was perfection, we spent every meal on the deck. In fact when we weren’t on the beach or sleeping, we were on the deck. Gorgeous view! Only thoughts for owner/managements (definitely not deal breakers, just minor things that would have been nice) —Larger table/more seating on the deck. We made it work by bringing stools out, but they weren’t as comfortable as those with the backs. —Better skillets (gave up on making pancakes) —An inexpensive crockpot —softer sheets (not bad, but a bit itchy especially if you get any sunburn)

This property was beautiful and a joy to stay at! Very accommodating to our large family. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was short but enjoyable. The beach was easy to access and was just a few steps away. There were even extra beach toys, boogie boards and a few extra beach chairs. We brought our own but having the boogie boards was a nice thing!

We LOVED everything about this property. If I had one request/want it would have been a golf cart to get across the sand but OMG was it amazing!

Just a great place, everything you could want for a beach vacation. Sunrise is unparalleled off the deck. And the view and sounds of the Gulf will just lull you to relaxation. Rent this house!

Renting was super easy. Property owner was quick in their responses. The location was perfect for our family weekend trip. The beach was close enough to be able to watch and even holler at the kids from the balcony deck! I would have given it a 5 star review except the balcony deck lights didn't work which made it hard to play cards in the evenings and some of the towels had a bad smell like maybe they sat in the washer too long. Overall, it was a great visit! So great we rented again the following weekend!!

Easy to check in and out.. Good communication and book telling about local places. Well setup house. Very close to the beach. Great sunrises from the front deck.

BeachQuest is a fabulous place to stay if you want a nice quiet family getaway location. It is literally right by the beach. You can hear and see the ocean waves from the deck 24/7 and you are about 50 steps from the beach. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart while you are there, it is so much fun. We alternated between hanging out on the beach and exploring Galveston & surrounding areas. We suggest to ride the ferry, eat Katie's Seafood House, go to Moody Gardens Aquarium, & go on a dolphin tour. BeachQuest provides a place of relaxation and the beach was always quiet even when "semi-busy". We throughly enjoyed our time at the beach and will be back. Thank you for the much needed family oasis and vacation!

Beach Quest is the perfect beach house! Water views all around, with easy access to the beach and an ATV rental place just across the highway. Comfortably occupied four adults, two children, and one small dog.

This is our 2nd stay and we still love this little cabin with its fantastic wall of windows on 2 sides providing views of the ocean right off the front deck and bright open living/kitchen areas. The furniture and beds are comfortable (though that hole in the brown couch still needs to be repaired). The rooms are all spacious, everything is clean, and plenty of towels are provided. Nice quiet section of beach and we so appreciate being able to bring our dogs. Would LOVE if there was a small fenced area added off the steps in the future because we will be back!

This is the second time I have leased this property and probably will do so again. After renting several houses in the Crystal Beach/Gilchrist area this has become our "go to". It is only steps away from the beach, the view is wonderful, and the location is perfect. Everything was spotless and the exit process was easy.

Property was lovely. I left a mauve jacket that goes with my dress there in a drawer!
