We stayed for 4 nights. The barn was comfortable but some general maintenance required eg latches, light bulbs, taps.

The Barn had everything you needed for a very pleasant stay in a beautiful part of the country.

Just what we needed, quiet and comfortable. 10 minutes from the city and easily accessible. Nice to be met by hosts on arrival. Cannot fault it👍

Our extended stay at The Barn was all we hoped it would be and an excellent reintroduction to life in the UK. Christine and Shaun are terrific hosts, aided and abetted by Tango the cat who loves his tickles and sheep who deserve a role in any remake of "The Great Escape"

The property was very well kept with all you need, spacious and in a lovely rural setting. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We would recommend it 100%

The barn conversion is very nicely done with lovely features and is well equipped. Also it is in a very picturesque location, with easy access to Exeter, moors and beaches.

We were welcomed warmly with an umbrella in the dark and pouring rain as we arrived at the barn. That was so appreciated - thank you Christine! The accommodation was everything we had expected and we were very grateful for recommendations on things to do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cottage is lovely. It is clean, very comfortable and a lovely place to relax. They were very accommodating for our little one too - travel cot, high chair etc.

We were very comfortable staying at this property. The sitting room furniture could do with an update but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The host was very welcoming and we found everything as we’d expected. Located in a very picturesque part of Devon.

We loved staying at this farm! Beautiful scenery and quiet but close enough to town. The inside is an adorable cottage, and very clean and tidy. There is a kitchen, we cooked some meals, two bathrooms and two large bedrooms upstairs. If we go to Exeter again we would love to stay here again. The owners are very kind. They are available if you need anything.

The owner was very friendly and helpful with all my needs. I suggested the bin in the kitchen need replacing.

This is our second time staying. It is a lovely cottage in excellent location, you are deep in the countryside but also very close to the city of Exeter so the best of both Worlds. No negatives, all good. My only criticism (not really) is that there were 2 lovely sheep soft toys at the property, and my 3 year old son took a liking to them and decided that they were coming home with us. I lost count of the amount of times that we had to dig the sheep out of his suitcase... He was determined to have them, but he didn't succeed at the end, we checked! Now more seriously, thanks for everything, lovely stay.

Beautiful barn/cottage with everything you need for a nice getaway. Communication with Christine is quick and friendly. We had a great time to visit the beaches, Dartmore NP, Lands end and Jurrasic coast

Lovely barn conversion in a beautiful part of Devon. It was well equipped for our mini break. The courtyard garden was a real asset.

We needed a base for a university graduation in Exeter and this cottage was perfect for us. The cottage is well positioned for exploring that part of Devon and Dartmoor. Clean, comfy and nice outside space shared with the owners cottage.

This is a lovely place and in a great location. Charming, beautifully decorated, peaceful setting, comfy bed, all the amenities you would need. Good communication, easy to check in and we appreciated that Christine came to welcome us.

Had a lovely few days staying in a beautiful location. Well equipped, clean and cosy cottage. Fingle Glen golf course only minutes away. Close to Exeter, Dartmoor and other fabulous places to visit. Very friendly and helpful host.

Home from home stay in this lovely property with helpful and relaxed owners. It is very well equipped and very comfortable - wifi, hot water, shower, digital TV, beds, all excellent. Beautiful setting in the rolling Devon hills with easy access to towns and Exeter itself. Perfect stay.

Lovely local walks and great base to explore the area that is full of places to visit , beaches and fabulous walks, local towns & river walks. Nice stay, very quiet, took our bikes but unable to ride as very hilly & lanes too narrow at parts & very busy at times with traffic! Disappointed with not taking bikes out but we travelled miles In car to see lots of different places so that was a plus! Overall, a very nice stay & would stay again without the bikes

Lovely relaxing place to stay. Surprisingly easy for Exeter. And just 30 mins from south coast.

My partner and I very much enjoyed staying on the Connor's property. It was ideal for us as we wanted to cook our own food and be self-sufficient. And when we needed supplies, there's plenty of supermarkets in the surrounding towns and villages. The property includes all the amenities of home, and the wifi worked well so definitely an option if you need to work remotely. We will certainly consider returning to Wayland Farm!

Excellent location only 15 minutes from Exeter centre and great for the beaches in Devon. Good facilities in the house and the owners were very helpful.

Not easy to find. Rustic appearance but because of Covid, a bit sparse, Christine e Mailed us with a welcome and a plan and info of the property, However e mail was sent at 10.46 on Monday 14th Sep and we left Derby at 08.30 so never got the e mail until we arrived back. The book in time and departure time had both been altered(shortened) and information on access to leaflets and DVDs(none) was not available. We also did not know the instructions for the recycling of waste and where to put the bags. We had contact with the owners on the first day only (when we were asked to strip the bedding and place in a bag) but obviously they were not aware that we had not received their e mail. The score on the cleanliness was only average as it was let down by cobwebs all over the light in the second bedroom and pieces of plastic under the bed in the main bedroom and also in the lounge area.
