Location, washing machine, views, security, comfortable space.

Cleanliness was below par, kitchen cupboard handles sticky, table in lounge unsuitable as it was full of crumbs in the woodwork and needs to be sealed. No dishwasher detergent. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. Bed was old and sunk in the middle, most uncomfortable bed I've slept in for years. The furniture and fittings are well used and clearly the advertising photos were taken some time ago. Information about how appliances operate, there were none in the Information booklet. We were excited to be staying in this property, but it was a little underwhelming.

The two apartments that I stayed in during my stay (due to a mix up with the keys - see below) were both comfortable and in a good location.

The check-in process was a mess. Initially I was told I was going to need to collect the keys for the apartment from a key safe and that I was going to be sent the code on the day of my arrival. However, in the end I never received a message with the code and instead received an email with instructions for how to collect the keys from a nearby restaurant. When I got there, the restaurant staff told me someone else had already picked up the keys and that they didn't have keys for me. It turned out they had given the keys to the wrong person (not their fault, there was no name on the envelope!). After some back-and-forth calls with the team it turned out the restaurant staff did have another key for another apartment (so not the one I booked) and they gave me those instead. I then had to wait in this apartment for someone from the JustStay Wales team to come over to try to sort out the situation. They told me it wasn't possible to swap apartments anymore because the other person had already used the shower and kitchen in the apartment I had originally booked. I insisted I wanted to stay in the apartment I booked and asked for the keys to be swapped the next day. I also disclosed some personal information that I later found out was shared with the occupant of the other apartment (very unprofessional!). Anyway, in the end the situation was resolved and we were both put in the correct apartments but the whole process was quite stressful and not dealt with in the way I would have expected. Both apartments were nice, well-equipped, and had a good view. The bathroom in the smaller, more modern looking apartment had a slightly musty smell, but the bed was more comfortable.

Location was great 2 minutes from the beach and you could hear the sea, A 5 minute walk to the city centre. REally nicely presented.

We had a issue parking as the car park fob did not work, but the security guard let us in. The mattress was a litlle too soft for our liking.

The views are excellent, the property has onsite security, it’s in a great location. The facilities were excellent, coffee machine with pods, t bags/sugar etc provided, cleaning equipment too. Dishwasher was a bonus

The sofa is absolutely tiny, as is the TV, both looked quite out of place for the living room space. I much prefer a feather/down duvet to the artificial man made variety and the same goes for the pillows. A lot smaller than the photos suggest

Great location, clean & comfortable. Good facilities, liked the extra touches of tea, coffee, washing up liquid etc being provided.

Nothing we didn’t like, would have preferred some decent size mugs for tea / coffee rather than cups. Also view would have been much better if the windows had been clean (patio doors, appreciate difficult access to clean others).

The location was easy to get to with local secure parking. Keys collected from local restaurant.

A comfortable apartment close to the beach, shops and bars and restaurants. Apartment was well equipped. A lovely view of the beach and sea.

The lounge carpet would benefit from a clean. There were also burn marks on the worktop and floor.

The apartment was comfortable and warm and fully equipped with almost everything needed.

It wasn't straight forward as to where we were staying due to different images that were on the actual website to Booking.com, so we ended up staying in the other block of apartments with very little sea view because of all the scaffolding in front of the windows, which we weren't notified of. Getting the keys, parking and then dropping the keys off in a different place were all disorganised and a little chaotic. We were woken up Saturday and Sunday morning by workmen on the scaffolding, in front of our doors/ window, so it made it difficult to relax, it was annoying because Monday morning, when we were leaving, there were no workmen and all was quiet! Not the relaxing break we were hoping for.
