The location is really amazing. It's the windy and more natural part of the island. We absolutely loved the view. It's 10-15 minutes from the port/ "city"... the lane is pretty light and surrounded by the beautiful nature. The cabins are nice, clean and I loved the color of the walls :)

Everything was great! I dont get people writing reviews commenting on the presence of ants, darkness, lack of light. Do your research first/ check what place are you heading to and you wouldn't be surprise with some obvius things.

Expensive for what you get, which is a super basic hut. The side of the island is super windy, there are strong currents and the beach is not inviting to chill or good to take a swim.

Beyond rustic. First cabin had dangerous access. We moved the next day. Restaurant did not serve dinner.

Gorgeous beach shacks. The rooms are nothing special, but that’s not why you stay here. A comfortable bed, the Caribbean ten steps out your front door, a hammock on your front porch. It’s everything I needed.

The shower in my bungalow could use a little TLC. The shower head was missing, so it just shot out a stream of water. But, I really didn’t care because I was there for the proximity to the water and gorgeous views.

Told by locals that east side is always windy so you literally couldn't be outside. Seaweed in front of property for days so don't expect swimming there. Showers? Well in 4 nights stay they worked half an hour one day other than that we had to use bucket and pour water over us.

Location was great! Right at the beach. Perfect to watch the sunrise or just relax at the hammock. Bed was comfortable and clean. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The water situation was not comfortable. Even though the cabin had full bathroom, water supply was intermittent, and multiple times we would run out of water in the middle of having a shower. After the first shower experience, we started to fill water bottles and buckets whenever water was available to be able to finish the shower, wash hands or flush n2.

Carlitos and Mavor are so friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and the location was ideal. Sunrise side of island. Delicious Breakfast every morning. Bungalow is simple but clean!! Carlitos arranged a panga boat pick up right from our bungalow on the beach to take us snorkeling. Fantastic experience!!! Loved the location on the windward side of island for cooler temperatures, but easy and enjoyable 15 minute walk to other side of island to the main village area for sunset. Walking back at night was no problem on partially lit path with our flashlights. Close to our favorite restaurants too, Full Moon, El Bosque and Rosas.

Add more hooks under the shelves to hang clothes.

Carlito was incredibly kind and accommodating. He made us feel like we were right at home. Carlito is so kind and authentic. The view from his place is absolutely breathtaking with a private beach and coconuts galore. I would highly recommend staying there! In fact, i had morning sickness the whole time we were there and he made sure I had coconuts every morning, his wife made me ginger tea everyday, and he cooked us the most amazing meals. We cant wait to go back!
